Love my shoes! I have severe plantar fasciitis and these make my day so much better. I did add the correct type of orthotic inserts but these are the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn

I have major foot issues, including plantar fasciitis, high arch, wide foot, and a neuroma. After doing lots of online research I decided to go with the hoka bondi 7. The first time I wore them, my feet hurt like crazy. I don't know if its the "rocker" sole or just the shape on the inside of the shoe but it just didn't feel right. I've worn them now probably 6-8 times and while my feet do feel a bit better than the first time I wore them, I wouldn't say they are "comfortable" at all. I guess I should have gone to a store so I could try them out instead of ordering online. Unfortunately because of how much I spent on them, it looks like I'll have to wear them for a while.

Firstly, I must say, the only reason I can do my job pain-free is because of HOKA. I work on cement 8 hours a day and my feet were so bad I was bed ridden for 2 days when I discovered them. They're AMAZING. I replace them every 6 months because my body lets me know when they are too broken down to help. No complaints. EVER. I even have 3 fellow workers addicted now. We buy the slides and thongs as well. Perfect for after work sweetness; or just to bop around in. Weeelllll, I was pretty shocked when I ordered my last pair of BONDI (my preferred style; they're the cushiest to me) in the same exact size I have always ordered. They came and were horribly uncomfortable. I was so shocked I actually thought perhaps it was me. Perhaps my feet were more sore than usual when they arrived? So I wore them for a week. BIG MISTAKE. My feet were miserable. It felt like I'd had high heels on all day. Very sadly I returned them. HOKA's fantastic and I was refunded my full price immediately. Tried another brand....horrible. So I opted to get a half a size bigger and to try wide. I have long, narrow feet and have never bought a wide shoe in my life.I have not gained any weight. I'm 5'4" and weigh 115, and actually weighed a couple of pounds more a few weeks ago....not weight gain or swelling feet. They changed it somehow. This is so lengthy in hopes that someone from HOKA will read this review and PLEASE, PLEASE not change a brilliant shoe when it's working!!!! Fingers crossed the when the new ones come it will be like the pain-free old days!!! Cheers, All!!!

I have been using On for my power walks/runs but after ten months of daily use (I do about 7km per day) they’re falling apart and I need a new pair of running shoes. I decided to give the Bondi 7 a try thinking that the cushioning may work for me. I’m 5’4”, 119 pounds, and had a very pesky, protracted adductor injury due to overexertion last year, which finally healed after two months of PT. I was very excited to try the Bondi but sadly had to return them after a couple of uses on the road (thanks Zappos for the excellent running shoes guarantee). First, they’re ridiculously bulky. I wear a 7 in running shoes and had to size down to a 6 in the Bondi 7. For the style (and since I have a small foot) they’re actually rather cute. They’re light for their size, but still heavier than most running shoes out there. I enjoyed running in them — the cushioning is fabulous and the rounded soles propel you forward — but got a sharp pain in my shin after one run, which was worrying. Also, they were terrible for fast and power walking! After the first use my feet and knees hurt for hours. The second time I wore them went slightly better since I realized I needed to adjust my gait, but the bulkiness was slowing me down and I still felt my knees getting impacted. I also noticed a slight pull in my groin which gave me pause. I tried them a third time, and still felt a pull in my groin after my walk. Long story short, I suspect that these shoes require a gait adjustment that may or may not work for people. In my case, I was concerned that protracted use might activate my adductor injury again, so back they went. I’m sure these work perfectly for people with certain conditions such as plantar fasciitis, or those that are recovering from foot surgery. I can’t recommend them to runners who don’t fall in those categories but are simply looking for a cushioned running shoe. There are less bulky alternatives out there that won’t put unnecessary stress on your joints.

I am not a runner but I do a lot of lengthy brisk exercise walks and work out on an elliptical, and I have had plantar fasciitis and other foot problems over the years. This shoe (and its predecessor, Bondi 6) is so incredibly comfortable, cushions my foot, fits well and looks very stylish. I'm a customer for life! Shoe runs true to size, hugs your foot with no slippage or possibility of twisting your ankle or causing tendonitis but also no rubbing or pinching.

A very comfortable shoe but with no arch support. Literally flat. Sending back. What a shame that a shoe engineered for ultimate support & cushion has zero arch support. Doesn’t companies field test anymore? Agree that color schemes need improvement also. Please get better Hoka. I’d like to try again.

What a disappointment. I had high hopes for these shoes. I wishe I had read the negative reviews first. Even though I ordered a wide, it was still painfully narrow on my foot.

I wear so many different sizes depending on the shoe brand so it is hard for me to say whether these are true to size or not. I usually wear anything between a women's 10.5 - 12. Also, I do not have a wide foot but sometimes need to order wide to accommodate my bunion. In the Bondi 7 the 10.5 medium were a good fit, or so I thought. While they do run wider than most of my shoes in the toe area, they were still not wide enough or stretchy enough to be comfortable for my bunion. They felt fine the first time I tried them out but the longer I wore them, no matter how loose the laces, the inside stitching from the tongue where it meets the top of the lace rubbed my bunion the wrong way and made walking very painful. I tried them out at Orange Theory and they were very bouncy and comfortable during my run on the treadmill, but the next day I could not even walk in them without foot pain. I also tried the 10.5 wide and experienced the same issue. Needless to say, they are all going back. The colors are also not as vibrant as I would have liked.

I love these shoes! The cushioning is phenomenal! Bad news is I don’t want to wear other shoes. As far as style is concerned, it’s good compared to other athletic shoes.

I supinate so much that I end up running only on the outsides of my feet. After my run, it's just painful! These shoes keep my feet from rolling out. This was exactly what I needed. I would also like to add that it is like running on a cloud!

Third pair of this shoe and as great as ever: comfortable, cushy, supportive. I often wear 8.5 because of wide forefoot; because of wide box on this shoe 8 is fine.

I tried two different sizes including a wide width and these shoes did not work for me. It felt like someone was literally squeezing my foot. I don't believe this brand is for everyone.

Often I’ll wear a 9.5 in sport shoes. This shoe has a little larger toe box so a 9 is perfect.
