I got the Bondi 7, it is a little narrower than the Bondi 6. My toes are getting squished. I love my Bondi 6 and really wanted to love these, too

I wear an 8 1/2 wide in Brooks so I ordered the same size by the recommendation of the manufacturer. They felt a little sloppy and I also felt the arch was not hitting me in the right place. I returned those and got an eight wide. Eight is my shoe size in all shoes except my running shoes. I have to say that they ran true to size. With my Brooks (w Superfeet), I never feel that I need to break in my shoes. I can put them on and go. With the Hokas the arch was a bit more severe (no insert needed) so i did need to break them in to get my foot used to the arch. It was not a big deal. I put them on and went for a 4 mile walk including some severe hills day one. I came home and changed my shoes halfway. I wore the Hokas all day 2 days, by the next “hill” walk they were much better. I can already see an improvement of my heel pain, the thing that led me to Hoka in the first place. I will use these for walking but not for my cross training as they have thick bottoms. Will be great for all terrain.

I have mid foot arthritis and the shoe provides very good support.

My first pair were the Bondi 6. I wanted another pair but now it is the Bondi 7. The 7 feels narrower than the 6 but still good.

Highly cushioned shoes. Custom orthotics fit easily inside. Really good for pavement pounding and daily walking. Tread & cushioning wear down after 6 months. Really wish available in more colors and more neutral colors.

I have worn Hoka for the last 8 years for work and play. I love the cushion, but would like to see a shoe with a lower cuff at the ankle. I have a hard time with rubbing on my ankles and Achilles' tendon.

Way too wide for me. Comparison showed comparable to Saucony in my usual size. Much too long and wide.

I like how these are very cushiony but the toe box is narrow. I should have ordered a wide.

Wonderful good-looking shoe! However a slender of narrow foot will not stay securely in it. Foot keeps slipping around, comes high around the ankle. Wish it were a smaller shoe, not a shorter shoe, just smaller in the body of the shoe.

The shoes are very cushy and comfortable. If your metatarsal ache, you will love them. I wish the toe box had a bit more width.

I'd been running in a different brand of shoe and having an awful time with Achilles tendinitis. I noticed with any other shoe on, including high heels, it felt better. I remember the Bondi 6 was my runner up at the shoe store so I took a chance and bought the Bondi 7. They're the ugliest shoes I've ever owned but I don't care because they've saved my heel. Loving my running again.

I have higher arches and PF in one foot. was hoping that this shoe could support me during jogs. Unfortunately the shoe is a little too thick and too heavy for me. By the end of my day with these, both feet were aching. Also, I have normal to slightly wide feet and found these to be a little roomy on me. I will exchange for the Clifton and hope for a better fit.

Product is comfortable but I'm disappointed in how much room is in the toe box. Makes the fit seem almost a half size too big.

While the Bondi 7 is a great shoe, I find the Bondi 6 more comfortable and cushioned for prolonged standing and activity.

Loved walking in these - I am not a runner but do walk long distances and since I have major back issues (2 surgeries, spinal fusion) I was looking for a shoe that would help minimize my pain on long walks. I thought these were magic. However my feet started burning after wearing them at home for a while - I believe that even in the wider width they were too small in the toe box. They have been returned. I will stick to my On Clouds for now but I might give these another try - have heard such good things about them.
I'd also recommend:

I use to buy the Clifton but they are now to narrow, I bought the wide but it seems that all they did was take some cushion out and call it a wide. I switched to the bindi and they are wider and a little more cushion. I wish the wide was a little more wide in the toe box because of having arthritis I need a wide but other then that they are comfortable

The tops of the shoe pinch my foot where it bends at the toes. the tongue of the shoe slides and that gives some pain.

I rate my purchase a 5 star, but I wish your color choices were the same as the sizes that are not wide.

For years, I've been a believer in Ryka walking shoes (the Devo Plus), but because of all the positive reviews decided to try the Bondi. I walk between 3-5 miles a day, usually outdoors, as weather permits.
From the first time I put them on, I was disappointed in the Bondi cushion feeling - it's noticeably less than what the Devotion Plus provides. The Bondi does support the walking gait a little better, however. Both shoes equally provide the "boxy" toe room. Is the Bondi worth the 2 times the cost? I'm still waiting to decide. Though I'll reassess after 1 month for now (10 days of walking experience), I'd have to say "no".

Shoe was much longer and had plenty of room in actual toe box, but was too tight across the top of foot and at bunions was too tight for my foot. This was no wider than the average width shoe I have now from Skechers. It has less cushion also and the arch started at the inside edge of heal so was poking my foot and hurt to walk more than a few feet, so had to return. I like the wide base of show for more stabilization but it just wasn't the right fit for me, especially for the extra money... I'll stick with Skechers (although they are dropping in quality lately as well and not as cushioned anymore so getting harder to find a decent pair in that brand as well) unless I find something better.

I really wanted to like these sneakers with all the hype they get, they fit true to size, but I was not happy with them, felt too far off the ground, too much padding for me…

Probably a good shoe if you have a wider foot and don't mind the bulk. The length size seemed ok, my narrow foot was not a good match, floating from sidewall to sidewall, unable to get a tight lace up, so I will return. Good craftmanship and materials. There is plenty of cushion to the shoe as advertised. It is a bit too clunky for my style taste.

Very comfortable shoe for walking on pavement. I do 5 miles per day minimum. However, the heel collar ( also supremely comfortable) has shredded in both shoes by the end of the first month. There is nothing abnormal about my heels to explain this. By the end of the second month the collar is so deteriorated that the shoe is loose on my foot and is becoming difficult to walk in. Disappointing longevity for such an expensive shoe.
