I have good experience with Altra Lone Peak 5s and Topo Mtn Racers and love both. I just recently got Olympus 4s and I now understand why they are more expensive, and they ARE worth it. The quality is amazing in the Lone Peaks, but these Olympus 4s are outstanding. I feel like these will last forever. What a solid shoe platform, wide enuf yet snug and sturdy. Nice dense cushion feel, springs you into the next step. GREAT toe cap, GREAT grip. So easy to run with a forefoot strike. Tongue locks you in and stays put. Light, breathable and durable. I honestly think this is the best shoe on the market and I will absolutely buy them as my go-to show from now on. Thank you Altra!!

Just took my first run with these puppies and I love them! I've struggled with knee pain for years and I can tell the zero drop on these is really minimizing my knee impact. They also feel like that almost have my legs on "autopilot," a feeling I've only experienced in the past with Hokas. This is my new favorite brand!!

I walk 6 miles everyday and this is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn!! Love it and would recommend it to anyone.

I have never in my life, spent so much money on a pair of shoes before. After trying these Altras, I can honestly say they have changed my life! I realize now, why people spend so much money on shoes and I will never judge again. I will never buy another brand of shoe, or at least never buy a different type of shoe, again. I am impressed by the grip, the feel, and the look of them. I feel like a million bucks when I wear these, which is honestly everyday. I love how my feet are never tired now. I do I prefer men's shoes because my big ole feet. I usually wear 10s in men's but a 9.5 is fitting, at least in this style of shoe. Thanks Altra! Keep 'em coming!

I'm hard on shoes and these things are tough and comfortable.

I ran 3.5 miles in those today. I was fast and did so after a week of intense activities. I usually develop medial soleus muscle tightness or shin splints even after a short run. These shoes are life saving! I immediately felt a very natural and difference in my running form. I felt pressure distribution across my entire foot and calf area (anterior and medial instead of usual medial side). After my run I had no pain at all. I hope these shoes keep the pain away once I up my mileage more. I'll come back and update this review if the pain comes back.

I've been buying Olympus since 1.5. This version is the best by far. While everyone's feet are different, for me these shoes were so comfortable that I wound up buying one after another until I had the full set of 4 colors. I have what has been diagnosed as either a neuroma or joint capsulitis on one foot so I can't tolerate conventional shoes and I hate orthotics. The Olympus line is one of the very few shoes I've found that pretty much makes the problem with my foot go away when I wear the shoe. This shoe is all I wear these days.
