I love, love, love to wear these shoes. Used to come home with sore feet, not anymore. I like the wider fit for the toes. Having a bunion it is hard to find shoes that don't rub on the toe.

Finally a sneaker that's shaped like my foot!

Just the perfect cushion. Ran almost 45 miles total; very comfortable, responsive, and no injuries. Unlike the Torin, which had way to much cushion that hurt my back on long runs. Highly recommended!

I buy Altra shoes for the support and comfort. If you have bunions, they are the one for you. My doctor recommended this brand.

I walk several miles per day. The shoes I have been wearing for years had started to pinch my toes. My feet are wide through the toe box and narrow through the heel, which make it difficult to find shoes that fit. I saw an ad for Altra shoes and decided to give them a try. I am so glad I did! I can walk pain free for the first time in ages. They are so comfortable and don't rub my feet or toes. I do use my own orthotics with them; I tried them without, and they didn't feel super supportive. I liked them so much that I purchased a pair of the LP Alpine. I only wish that Altra had more "lifestyle" shoes - I would definitely buy them!

I LOVE this shoe. I was recommended them by a friend and the wide toe box really changes the game. I tried brooks beforehand (didn't find them comfortable at all) and then tried hokas (they were comfortable but way too much cushion for me). I'm a new runner and love the flexibility of the material and how flat they are! I am definitely going to buy these again for my next pair towards the end of the year when I'm due, love the new colors they just released!

I'm on my 3rd pair. The zero drop is ideal for my workouts at Burn Bootcamp. Whether we're running, doing a high intensity plyo workout or strength training, the zero drop sole offers stability and support for high impact training. Customer Service is great! I had a sole issue with a pair and they took care to replace my shoe. My only complaint is the logo starts to peel away after a couple months of wear.

This sneaker is a game changer for my tochy feet. If a shoe can hurt,it will on my foot. Hundreds of dollars spent trying to find a wide toebox shoe with enough pad between me and the dirt and rocks but not too much so I cannot feel my self connect to the road. This shoe does it for me!! I am ordering a second pair just incase they ar discontinued!!

I wear these shoes for walking and daily errands and just about everything! I have wide duck feet and these fit so well! I take out the thin inner sole and replace with my orthotics and I am good to go! In recent past even take to Mexico for daily walking. Light. Easy. Good looking

I bought a half size smaller than I usually do, so think about trying them on in store if you can. They are wonderful, stylish and feel amazing. they have the zero drop heel and wider toe for freedom in movements, vegan friendly and just all around fun and cool to wear. definitely a great shoe!

Most comfortable running shoes ever! Wide enough at the front, snug at the heel. Upper mesh moves with you.

I run about 20 miles a week & these shoes are perfect. I've been running in the Escalante since the first version. I found the Escalante 2.0 to be too firm. It took a good 50 miles to break them in. The 2.5 is AMAZING & comfy right out of the box. If you liked the Escalante 1.5, you'll love the 2.5.

These are awesome runners. I have worn Nike trainers most of my career, and the natural foot shape allowed using my altras is so important and helps my bunions. Something I have neglected. Bought these in two colors! They rule!

These are my go to, and the pair I feel I couldn't live without. Once I retire a pair from running, I use them for yardwork and other errands. Love the feel, the look, so lightweight and comfortable.

After being tortured by shoes for my entire mature adult life, I have finally found a shoe that offers my foot and toes room so the shoe does not leave my foot sore nor tired. I had given up on my flat feet until a friend told me about Altra shoes. These shoes deliver!

I had purchased a pair of these several years ago that I wore and wore. The store I purchased them from does not carry anymore. They sold me another "better" pair that is not nearly as comfortable, so I was excited to go on-line and learn that this style is still available. I can wear the Altra Escalante all day long without discomfort. Not a thing I can say about most other shoes. I like that they are sporty and minimizing (I wear size 10 and dislike the bulkier look of some of the athletic shoe styles). I am considering purchasing another pair or 2 in other colors.

I am a home health therapist, so I am on my feet a lot. These are my new work shoes and I love them so much! They are, by far, the most comfortable Altras I have had yet - this is my 3rd pair.

This is my 2nd pair of Escalante's. I'm still wearing the old pair to work. They have excellant cushioning even though they are low profile looking. I have trouble with my feat d/t being a nurse. They feel bouncy.

I'm in retail, so pretty much on my feet all day. Finding a shoe with a wide toe box like the Altra is very exciting. Because I stand more than walk it's very important that I have lots of padding and instep support, Altra is that shoe!!! Thanks from the bottom of my feet.

I love these shoes! After buying two pairs of another brand, I developed a constant pain in my right forefoot and pain in both feet in the morning. Within 3 weeks of switching to Altra, the pain is completely gone. It did take a few days to adapt to the design and initially I was very aware of changes in my posture when wearing them, but the only thing I notice now is how comfortable these shoes are.
