I am really impressed with the fit and feel of the 1/4 zip Thermal. the size Medium fit my 5'11" frame perfectly and gives me room to move around without risk of ripping. Not to tight and not to loose.

Form fitting with out constraining. Merino is soft and warm. I have purchased similar shirts from at least 3 other companies, SmartWool is by Far the most comfortable and best fit. Also, really appreciate the color options.

Husband LOVES this base layer. He comes home from work and immediately changes into it. He's been looking for something like this for a long time. Good thing I was already a Smartwool devotee!

This is a classic for a reason. It is a nice thick weight and is perfect as a base layer for ski days!

I own quite a few Smartwool merino 1/4 zip tops. The fit perfect, so comfortable, just the right weight, and versatile.

I would not wear anything else as a base layer. The material is very comfortable and it works.

I'm 5 foot 11 and 190 pounds with a reasonably muscular build and I do size medium for a tight exercise base layer & large for casual fit. I like the classic Smartwool stuff, but intraknit is good for high intensity stuff like ski touring.

I've owned several different brands of 1/4 zip merino tops and found the SmartWool one to be the most comfortable and best fitting of all.

I finally wore out my old one. Had it for years. Love these tops.

Great gift for my husband! Fit is a bit on the longer side, so it works well for biking.
