This is a top of the line base layer. Purchased a mens large, perfect fit. I own several of these in different colors and they are my go to piece of clothing. I wear them for skiing and for daily use when it's cold outside and I want something that feels good next to the skin and is warm. you can't go wrong with this base layer.

This is one of the first base layers I've ever tried and it works perfectly. Kept me warm in 30 degrees weather and didn't chafe or irritate my skin while running.

I use it as a substitute for a light sweater in SoCal. Super comfortable and no bulk.

I am a fishing guide in Chilean Patagonia. I am happy since I dicovered this garment! Weather in Patagonia is constantly changing. This base layer has proven to be the go to for all conditions. It keeps me dry, warm and cool and dries super fast.

Great shirt to wear to work, and run in when it's in the 20s. Awesome wicking! Never smells! Unbelievable

I own several Thermal Merino Base Layers, including a quarter zip. One was fraying at the cuff, so it was time to update. Very warm. It's nice to pull out the right layer weight for the conditions.

I got the XL to fit the belly, but probably could have ordered the L. Either way, it's warm and comfortable, perfect for walking around in the Minnesota cold.

Own several and have so for 15+ years. Love the prodcuts.

I love this shirt. By far the softest, most comfortable and most durable base layer I have ever owned. On my second now after the first held up for the last five consecutive outdoor seasons of climbing, back country adventures, mountain biking, and extreme campfire antics... nothing beats the comfort, warmth, and "never stinks" capabilities of this shirt! I'd give 10 stars if the review allowed me the option.

Excellent quality product. Sizing is perfect; I have a muscular build, so finding shirts that are not too restrictive can be hit or miss but this was sized perfectly. 5'9" and 182 lbs

You wouldn't know that it was a base layer. Love the look.

Smartwool shirts are my go to base layer products. They feel great against my skin, come in beautiful colors, fit as sized and are a great price for the value. And they area natural fabric which I prefer. i wear them all the time whether just being out and about or adventuring in teh Cascades or Rockies.

Have a lot of base layers and happy I added this one. Being tall and long Smartwool has the best fit. Great base layer for year round hands down.

For my size the fit is perfect. I'm 6' at about 175 lbs. I'm in good shape but certainly not obsessed with working out. This shirt is great looking so you can wear it just about anywhere and of course while camping or any outdoor activities. It has a great stretch to the material and it's warm enough by itself for any chilly fall night. Simple to layer under clothing as well when the need arises.

I use the classic thermal on a daily occasion in the pacific northwest from cold rides on the motorcycle to hiking after work they keep me comfy and staying dry.
