It's pretty good, and very form fitting.

Good fit.

This mid weight Smartwool shirt is great for chilly spring days and nights in the north. It is slim fit and means it. It is form fitting but not tight for me, but I'm thin. Looks and feels good and just the right level of warmth for me

My son loves the fit and the warmth. We live in Northern Minnesota so it gets pretty cold. The service was fast and items were good quality.

I love these shirts. I wear them almost every day from late October to early May for my early morning runs. They keep me toasty in the cold but breathe well and are not suffocating even in slightly higher temperatures. The antibacterial properties of merino wool amazed me. These shirts just won't get stinky. I like to wash them, and eventually, they need replacing. That's why I keep an eye out for sales and take advantage when the prices drop, as they did this time. I am such a huge fan!

Smartwool Men's Classic Thermal Merino Base Layer Crew has exceeded my expectations, becoming my new favorite wool base layer. When on sale, this wool base layer is an excellent price performer. Warmth is better than expected, with some wind resistance. Weight for the medium, on my scale, is just under a 9 oz. For reference: 5' 10", 160 lb, 41 inch chest, 33 inch waist and the medium fits perfectly.

This is my favorite brand. Tailoring is very masculine in that it fits the frame.

For a base and a fashion if you buy the correct piece. Love this company and their products.

This is my go-to base layer for fishing steelhead in Michigan. We start early in the morning, and temperatures are in the 20s. I add a second Smartwool t-shirt over this base to provide an effective cold barrier under my insulated waders. Unlike cotton-based layers, wool breaths as things warm up in the afternoon. Smartwood socks and thermal bottoms round out my gear.

Comfy, warm, and they look great. Might run a little large though.

Great fit and appears to be be quality craftsmanship. I will be testing in Iceland in early April, so performance has yet to be fully evaluated.

Great fit and warm

This base layer is more comfortable than I expected. I can often just wear it without putting a shirt or sweater over top. The winter moss heather is a very nice shade of green, which is not so easy to find.

I normally wear a medium but got a large cause I wanted a looser fit and to counter potential shrinkage. But also I'm not just using it as a base layer.

Love, love, love this pullover. It's my second one. (This one is green; I already have the charcoal). It's super comfortable: both warm and cool. It fit's like a compression shirt, but not confining. It's wool, so it gives, but also keeps its shape. Durable enough to workout in, but nice enough to wear by itself just walking around.
