I have so many of these shirts, both crew neck and zip pullovers. They are so warm, wicks moisture and no stink fabric. After all, it's natural merino wool. The color Marmalade Joviansphere is quiet darker than shown, however, the subdued colors look much better than the bright colors shown on the website. You will not be disappointed with 100% merino wool. Smartwool manufactures some really nice stuff year after year. A big fan since early 2000s.

Very happy. Real nice quality. Fits a little big. I should have gone with a medium. . 5" 8" 19o lbs and it fits a little loose.

I have been wearing this baselayer shirt for at least ten years. I have almost every color now. It's like wearing a lightweat sweater. It fits well, looks good, warm and doesn't hold on to odors. I wear them as casual wear and when I'm hiking and skiing. I love this baselayer!

Fits great. Very warm and comfortable. Will make great use of this throughout the cold winter months!

Now that the colder weather is here, I wear this as a base layer under flannel shirts, or even by itself as a toasty top layer.

comfortable and keeps you warm and dry

This is the second part of the base layer set I buy for my brother every year for Christmas. He is a downhill skier and loves the warmth they provide. I ordered a pair of the ski socks for him this year to fool him....then to pull out the base layer set. Can't wait for our celebration and gift exchange on Christmas eve.

Bought this as a gift for my son who lives in chilly MI. He likes that it's 100% wool, and said it fits great and is cozy.

Gearing up for Winter. Fits well. Too warm to wear yet. Tried to give 5 stars, but system automatically gave four. My problem is shipping. They only use USPS. Have had many problems with them. Asked for UPS or FedX, willing to pay for shipping. Response from Smartwool was no.

Best base layer I have now. Just buy it, you won't be disappointed if you like Smartwool!

These shirts are his very favorite...always the first pick. He prefers them over all others. They are long lasting and very well made.

This is a top of the line base layer. Purchased a mens large, perfect fit. I own several of these in different colors and they are my go to piece of clothing. I wear them for skiing and for daily use when it's cold outside and I want something that feels good next to the skin and is warm. you can't go wrong with this base layer.

This is one of the first base layers I've ever tried and it works perfectly. Kept me warm in 30 degrees weather and didn't chafe or irritate my skin while running.

I use it as a substitute for a light sweater in SoCal. Super comfortable and no bulk.

I am a fishing guide in Chilean Patagonia. I am happy since I dicovered this garment! Weather in Patagonia is constantly changing. This base layer has proven to be the go to for all conditions. It keeps me dry, warm and cool and dries super fast.

Great shirt to wear to work, and run in when it's in the 20s. Awesome wicking! Never smells! Unbelievable

I own several Thermal Merino Base Layers, including a quarter zip. One was fraying at the cuff, so it was time to update. Very warm. It's nice to pull out the right layer weight for the conditions.

I got the XL to fit the belly, but probably could have ordered the L. Either way, it's warm and comfortable, perfect for walking around in the Minnesota cold.

I love this shirt. By far the softest, most comfortable and most durable base layer I have ever owned. On my second now after the first held up for the last five consecutive outdoor seasons of climbing, back country adventures, mountain biking, and extreme campfire antics... nothing beats the comfort, warmth, and "never stinks" capabilities of this shirt! I'd give 10 stars if the review allowed me the option.
