Great base layer for skiing. It is soft, stretchy, warm and does not itch.

Love this. Been searching for new base layers for some time and smartwool's wool is all time. Way better then others I've tried. Soft, stretchy, warm, comfortable odor resistant and colors to match their tops. Underrated feature is the fly access, I can't stand being bundled up in ski gear and having to figure out how relieve myself outside. I'm also looking forward to use them to sleep outdoors while camping. I'm a huge fan of these.

Our family enjoys snow skiing once a year and we rely on smartwool products to keep us comfortable. These are a gift to our son who has not worn this product before. We chose it because his dad has worn them for years and loves the fit and warmth.

I run a ranch, I'm out in the cold and this product makes that bearable. Things that aren't great? The price, great product but way overpriced

My husband likes these for fishing in the fall and winter when it is cold. They are soft and keep him warm on the River bank.

Great for a base layer under my ski pant shell. Works in frigid temps, but also stays cool when it warms up. Wool is the way to go have slowly been getting rid of my synthetic base layers.

There's are my go to base layers that I literally wear everyday during winter. I can't live without them, seriously! I could however live without the knees getting runs in them. If there were extra layer of material over the knee areas then they would last longer then a year or two.

Bought these for XC-skiing in Oregon, I was amazed at how comfortable they are. No itching at all, no smell like polypropylene, best base layer I own.

My husband has a hard time staying warm so after trying several new "high tech" style long underwear, we decided to give these a try. He says they are very comfortable but not as warm has he had hoped. Considering the price of these, it is a disappointment as the Smartwool socks we own, we both find them very comfortable and warm. We live in the mountains of Colorado at 9000 ft. elevation so our winters are long. Hopefully these will help keep him warmer than other brands.

This is the bottom of the set I purchased for my brother for Christmas. I got him a set last year for Christmas and he loves them. He is a downhill skier and appreciates the warmth and comfort provided by the base layer of 100% merino wool. I have to say that this year my shopping for him was easy as can be because I knew how much he loved the set last year. Thanks Smartwool!!!!

On the whole I do like this product. I've used them as a base layer when it gets too cold and as a pair of pajama bottoms. My only complaint is that they don't hold their shape quite as well as I'd like. They return to shape after each wash, but in the interim stretch pretty notably. They are, however, comfortable and warm. #sweepstakes

Having been a mail carrier in Seattle for the past 15 years, Smartwool products have become essential to my workwear wardrobe. Head to toe Smartwool is not uncommon during the cold months (uniform pieces over, of course). The only issue I've had is with the base layer bottoms. Holes have slowly formed in the crotch areas and eventually (1-2 years) I would toss the bottoms out. However, considering that the daily use included walking for miles and climbing stairs, the value was still there for me. Now with a driving centric delivery route, I anticipate that this 250 base layer bottom will last for several years. I'd experienced the aforementioned issue with other brand's comparable products. SW just has a better skin feel.

Bought these after my research and expected to be really warm. Yes, they are helpful in staying warm, but they are not that warm.

I only use it during the winter, for about 4-5 months. They run a bit tight. I suggest washing them in a garment bag, as washing them inside a washer will eventually lead them to rip, and tear.

This is #2, guess you missed the first. Not made in USA as advertised. Great product but not truthful about production.

These are very warm! I've tried using them for hiking and skiing in the winter and I end up overheating. I do run somewhat hot, but these are still very thick. For sitting in the cold, though, they are a dream. I've used them under snow pants and they are soft and cozy and warm. I've used for long days standing out in the cold not moving much, snowmobiling, and for sleeping in on very cold camping trips, and they excel at all of those. Depending on what your needs are, the 150 may be a more versatile pick, but these are a great addition to an existing smartwool arsenal. The pair I have don't have a fly, which is inconvenient when wearing them under zipper pants, but I believe they now come with a fly, at least as an option. #SmartwoolLove
