Customer Reviews Merrell Work Jungle Moc Leather Composite Toe

I hhave ordered a number of jungle moc shoes. The last 3-4 times I received them the right shoe fir horribly. I had never had this issue before and the local outlet tried to make it right. However, every pair for the last 4 pair that I've purchased aare not made well. What is happening in the manufacturing department of this company?

I love Merrill's. I have 3 pairs of Jungle Mocs that serve as my go-to comfort shoes. I was thrilled when I saw the professional version I could wear for work. I did not hesitate to take the plunge. The difference between the 2 Jungle Moc versions is night and day. The foot opening on the professional version is so tight, I literally had to sit down and wedge/shove my foot into the shoe. It cut into my ankle so badly, I was nearly crippled by the end of my shift at work. I bought a size 8, just like all my other Jungle Mocs. I have narrow feet, and ankles I can almost fit my fingers around. I'm 5'9" and 140lb. Maybe I received a defective pair because all the reviews are so good but my shoes are just terrible! I so wanted to love them like my other Merrills but hands down, they are the most uncomfortable shoe I've ever had on my feet - not the interior of the shoe but the ankle opening. I am so disappointed.
