I've been wearing the Strongfield pull on boot for 2 weeks now, and I'm very impressed with the comfort. Definitely would recommend.

I picked these Merrell, Strongfield Leather Pull On Waterproof Comp Toe Work Boot. Up online and was very pleased with the quick delivery time.
I work in the Oil Field as a Truck driver. I'm in and out of the truck, through mud, water, dirt. They are extremely comfortable. Started wearing them 12 to 14 hours at a time. No break in time. My feet feel great even after I get done working. They are easy to drive with and are not stiff or restricting. They also slip on and off easily even while sitting in the driver's seat. That is a huge plus for me. The traction has been great without slipping on uneven surfaces. I feel sure footed while wearing them. I also like the rubber sole that wraps around the front of the boot. To protect the front from damage as I kick the middle of the boot.
As they are water proof they are warm while wearing them all day. I did expect this, and the reason I like how easily they slip on and off. To let my feed breath occasionally.
I would highly recommend this boot to anyone needing a good quality work boot. Also can't feel the composite toe while wearing them. Great job Merrell
Oh.... What....

I'm on my feet all day most every day I am a welder as well on it volunteer fire department these boots keep my feet dry I also thought of Bill fire in these boots Because I had to show up in my personal vehicle these birds did not get overly hot from the soul and at the end of the day they still hold their shape the leather did not crack the rubber did not burn overall very impressed with this product looking to buy another pair and this will be my go to

Would give 5 stars if the opening was a little wider. I have large calves and they are a bit tight slipping on. If you have skinny legs you should be good. Boots were broken in after the first wear. Very comfortable but also durable enough to use like a roper for farm work. Warm enough to wear hunting in 20 degree weather setting in a treestand for hours. Pretty much my go-to for around the property work. I don't think I'd want to wear them once the temps get up above 70 though. Make something like this in a trail-running material for summer use and you'd have a great summer work boot. Hadn't bought a new pair of Merrells in years, but they are still true to size-unlike the hut mocs which I had to return. Hopefully the next size up works for them. Overall I highly recommend these. We'll see how they hold up.

The only problem I have with these boots is they are hard to pull on, but when there on they are comfortable.

I love this boot. It's waterproof and comfortable, with great arch support. The toes are also solid state, and it looks pretty nice for going to town. My downgrade from 5 stars is due to the weight: they're pretty darn heavy. I wouldn't go on a hike with these but I use them for chores like sawing logs, clearing brush, blowing leaves and feeding the chickens.

Good work boots. Only issue is my ankles have been a bit sore since I have been wearing them

Sized +0.5 on the large side. Easy to return to get a better fit. Look to be good quality. Feel good, no need to break in. Now the only test left is longevity.

I wear these anytime I'm not in my work uniform. Great boots for comfort, durability, and style.
4 stars because the inner liner part didn't stay glued down and it pulls out with your foot/doesn't stay in place.
I'm still buying another pair as my "nice boots" and not greasy/oily/concretey work boots

If you are good with the loose heel fit of a boot they are the most comfortable shoe ever worn by myself! Kneeling shoe flex is designed!

Tight to put on first 2 weeks. They are comfortable and waterproof. Most comfortable shoes I ever owned.

They were stiff at first but once I treated them with mink oil and let them soak it in they've softened and fit better. I wear them to work 5 days a week refurbishing screeds.

I don't care for the lining in the boot but to get the waterproofing, then they have to be lined. Boot is very comfortable. Would prefer to be a little taller also. I've been wearing work boots all my life and have never had a pair that's as comfortable as Merrell.

The shoes once you get them are very comfortable. There is a cloth material lining inside which makes them very hard to get on and remove.

Great work boot overall but the inside came apart at the stitching pulling the whole sole free in less than a moth of use. Also tight fit around the ankle and leg, takes some effort to put on.

I like the boot, but the lining wears out quickly and my heel catches on it while trying to take the boot off. Same thing is happening on my 2nd pair, and the rest of the boot barely looks used.

The boot overall is extremely well constructed, and I'm sure will last a long time. The issue lies with the odd shape merrell makes their insoles. It rides into the center of the heel and the less than stellar qaulity control on the insole that comes with the boot gives it a hard edged lip. It's mildly uncomfortable at first, but after two days it becomes unbearably bad. I personally had to put another insole on top of the original one to be able to continue wearing the boot. You can't just buy a better sole and put it in the shoe, they dont fit because merrell doesnt have a standard shape where the insole sits. The extra thickness from needing two insoles is now pushing my toes against the toe box and starting to wear them down too. Overall I wouldn't suggest anyone buy merrel work products until they fix the fit, or the fit just so happened to work for their oddly shaped foot.

Initially these boots were very comfortable, fit well, warm, breathable, slip resistant and waterproof. In less than a year however the linings came apart making it difficult to get my foot out. Eventually the stitching came out of the heal leather from the force of taking them off. Poor design for then inner linings and the weak point in the boot lasting.

In the two years that I've had these boots, I've worn them maybe 60 times. In that time, one of the boots has become unwearable. The insole and interior lining have pulled out, and when I try to stuff them back in to wear it and then try to take the boot off, it's almost impossible to pull my foot out. This is shoddy workmanship; I did not expect Merrell boots to break down this fast. I was generally impressed with them before this happened, which makes the failing all the worse.
