I've had a pair I loved for several years, but the new updated versions have a higher side and it rubs a bone on my ankle. Regreatably they are all like that. I now have tried 3 additonal shoes. They won't work for me any longer.

I really wanted to like these shoes, and I love my Cloud Ventures, which are my go-to shoes for traveling, but as a workout shoe/sneaker, these Cloud X sneakers are just not very comfortable out of the box. They do run a bit small/narrow, as I found for other On Cloud models, so I ordered a half size up. The support and springiness of a new sneaker just wasn't there went I put these on. I did not get that "oooh...ahhh" feeling of trying on a new pair of sneakers. Compared to the Hoka and Nike sneakers I tried, these Cloud Xs did not compare favorably at all in terms of support or comfort. They looked great though.

The shoes squeak. After wearing them for some time, they started to squeak, especially when they got a bit wet... Noisy and a bother...

I absolutely LOVED my first pair of oncloud x and when they finally fell apart, I ordered a new pair without hesitation. I was so sure I’d love them, I started running in them right away. I’m SO disappointed to say that this new version rubs horribly on the outside of my ankle bone. It’s like I want to take a pair of scissors and manually trim the edge of the shoe down 1/4”. Id hoped that with time they’d soften up and become more comfortable… but unfortunately that is not the case. Why do manufacturers insist on changing a good design?! Introduce new colors/styling if you must, but leave a good design alone!

Trying out On shoes for the first time. Curious about technology and fit and feel. Ordered several to try on and compare. All very different. Was impressed with the quality and technology. Do need to wear Rx prescribed orthotics as there is little arch support in the shoes. This pair, Cloud X, while a good, high quality shoe, was too lightweight for what we were looking for. We returned it, but it might be exactly what someone else is looking for. Try it out.

Pinches on top of my instep. Both shoes are gathered in even unlaced. Going to send these back and try a different style, 2.0.

runs wide for someone with narrow feet.

Fit and size true. Nice looking shoe but poorly made. Used for work only, but frayed and started getting holes in the upper material. Also started squeaking when walking after 3 months. They would not hold up long if you ran in them. Just Ed ordered the cloud adventure hoping they are better made.

Runs large

Absolutely love these shoes but they do feel like they run a little big

Love the style and attention to detail. The shoe is extremely light. This shoe not for narrow feet...heel slippage. Returned.

The outside fabric on these is satin and very shiny. The feel of the sole is hard, not much spring. The shoe is extremely lightweight kind of like a ballet slipper. These are pros for some cons for others.

Felt comfortable at first but quality isn’t there

I tried these to see what the fuss was all about, but the soles have little cushioning and aren't for someone my age (early 60s) with foot or knee issues. Not comfortable for walking or even working out.

I was sent wrong size when I tried to exchange and the shoe looked worn

Had these shoes for 3 months and the wear on them were definitely not expected based on the price of the shoe. Significant wear and quality issues with some of the affixed logo's coming off the outside of the shoe.

The size is ok by the material looks very cheap almost fake one. The finished is terrible and the shoe laces are disproportional for the sneakers. They look great in the pictures e web site in reality they look very cheap, for almost $150.00 I was expecting for something much better! This is my second review. I guess because I am being negative about my purchase you are not no publishing my review. I Will give you another week, if my review is not moving forward I will make a final complain to the BBB!

These ripped on the sides after 2 months

Item fit well, but the shoe had much more of a greenish hue than I could determine from the picture. Returned it.

Terrible fit. I have never been in such a foot pain in a 4 mile run. I hate these shoes, after 1 run I want to throw them out or return then for something with arch support, cushioned and absorbing of vibrations. Im an 8 reg in all my gym shoes but these feel 8.5 extra wide in the front and wide in the back. I do like how they look but looks are deceiving

I’m an On fanatic. I loved the weight of these shoes but the cut around the ankles towards the laces is really high and makes them unwearable. It’s a bummer. None of my other 6 pairs of On shoes are like this!!!!

Excellent style, fit, and comfort but I can only give two stars because these shoes have ZERO tread. Forget about walking on a finished concrete floor or on a wet sidewalk. I can’t even imagine what it would be like on ice. It’s a shame since these are otherwise nice shoes.

Light weight shoe that is satisfactory for walking. Not the shoe if you are running, lifting, training.

I love these shoes accept for the fact that they squeak. Very annoying. If you wear headphones, it probably won’t matter. Otherwise it is very distracting.
