I have worn Mizuno for several years now and had been very happy until now. I bought these in my usual Mizuno size ( my size since being an adult, I'm 49 now). I always buy a size up due to swelling when running. So, I wear a 6.5 but ordered my usual 7.5. Got them and thought, wow, they are SO cute and I love a cute shoe. Put them on and thought they were a little snug but it must be the cushion so I'll go for a short run to break them in. BAD MISTAKE. I ran 2 miles and my feet and legs hurt so bad I had to stop. These shoes are SO SMALL. I have NEVER worn and 8, ever. I might have even needed an 8.5 but we'll never know because after several emails and phone calls, they informed me that they would not accept a return because I wore them outside. I wish I had lied, they look perfect. I am so disappointed and frankly astounded that a running company would not stand behind their product. I will never buy from Mizuno again. I don't even think I'd run in any of their sponsored runs. So sad. I loved my last pair, even recommenced them to several people. Lesson learned. You suck Mizuno,

I've bought 4 pair over the last 2-3 years of the Waveknits and every pair gets a hole in the toe from my big toe on top. I keep my nails short and even bought socks with extra toe guard. I have 2 friends who have had the same issue. I think the thicker fabric around the front of the shoe needs to come back further to prevent this. Now I'm stuck with running shoes that are retired and cannot wear for normal use.

These Wave Rider 24s felt better than the Wave Sky 4! But I returned them because of the weird fit. They definitely run 1/2 size small, so my usual 7.5 in a running shoe would've been too short. I did order them in a size 8, which was just like my normal 7.5. The weird fit was how they hug your feet into an abnormal feel. The wide width was fine, as I needed, but the whole inside shape was weird.

I enjoy using this shoe for speedwork and racing. The woodrose-pale lilac color is definitely a favorite of mine. I like that the shoe's tongue is very thin and soft and stays nicely in place. The shoe seems to have great surface contact allows a good push off the ground.
Since this is a neutral running shoe I have to use insoles for my high arches. Back of the shoe is nicely cushioned and hugs the heel.

This is my 4th pair of Mizuno Wave Riders. I ordered the same size as my previous 3 pairs (1/2 size up from my regular shoes) and they fit perfectly. I think these are my favorite pair yet. There is plenty of room in the toe box and they are very comfortable. I like how the tongue is thinner than my previous pairs and attached to the shoe so it doesn't slide around. All around I'm extremely happy with this pair.

These run short and I'm already in a size 12!!! So my recommendation is go up at least a half size depending upon your needs.

I love the look of the shoe. The problem was it ran very small. I always wear a 6.5 in Mizuno and these were very small. Toes were touching to edge and felt squished.

I used to run in these years ago. Then I ventured off to try different shoes: Hoka and Saucony.
I decided to come back to them due to allot of knee and hip pain after interval running. I rec'd quickly. I have had no pain and fit my narrow foot perfectly. I will stick to what works for me.

It's a terrific brand and it did not fail me for the support I have come to love and enjoy. However it runs quite small. Normally I wear a 7 and I had read it ran small, so I ordered 7.5. When it arrived, I found I needed to exchange it for an 8. They now fits perfectly and I am very pleased.

Upon reading reviews, I did order a half size up. It is the best choice. So far the have been comfortable. I did wish a bit more cushioning would be available.

Shoe fit true to size for me. I am very pleased with these neutral running shoes. I have been running in the Mizuno Wave Rider shoe for almost 2 decades now.

I've been running in Mizuno Wave Riders for many years. In the fall I tried on the version in the "regular" fabric and I didn't like how they fit. The 8.5 seemed bigger and bulkier than usual, so I returned them. Well, I tried again and ordered the "new" waveknit fabric and it's perfect. Fits like my old shoes, looks sleek in the 8.5 while still hugging my foot. I normally wear size 7, but go up 1 1/2 size for running shoes. Mizuno Wave Riders continue to be the shoe for me.

I’ve been wearing Wave Riders for years and still love them. I have a narrow foot and these fit perfect. I am usually a 7 1/2 in tennis shoes but in these I do an 8 cause they run a tad small. Especially if you are using them to run in. I love the colors of these because I can wear them with anything. All around great shoe!

I have a very narrow size 7/7.5 with high arches making it very hard to find a supportive running shoe. Through and through, no matter this model, the Waverider has always been my go to for comfort and stability while still being light weight and not too bulky. The look of the shoe is also sleek and very classic. I went with the 7.5 and am glad I did, since as I mentioned they fit snuggly (which is my preferred fit for running).

I swear by these shoes. I have owned several pairs of Wave Riders over the years for a reason: they work great for me! This model is no exception. Feels great, light weight, very comfortable. This is the first Waveknit model I've owned and I was hesitant because it was different than what I have been accustomed to, but I haven't noticed any difference.
There were reviews about the new tongue, but I love it! It's secured into the shoe in a way that is not noticeable when I wear them, until I realize that I haven't needed to adjust the tongue because it stays in place!
I would recommend this shoe to anyone with high arches or plantar fasciitis (I have both), is constantly on the move (I chase after 2 young boys), or someone looking for a great shoe to stay fit (I log about 6 running miles/wk in these).

Mizuno running shoes fit narrow compared to most, which was an advantage for me because I have narrow feet. The sizing is consistent for Mizuno but if you’ve never worn their sneakers before then be aware that you will need to size up - I’m a 6-6/12 in most shoes but an 8 in Mizuno running shoes.
These are a cushioned running shoe which makes them a little heavier but great if you need that extra amount; personally I wear them for 8+ mile runs daily. They also have a decent arch support compared to other sneakers but I use my own custom inserts instead; anyone who truly has high arches should do the same.

Love this running shoe. I have narrow feet and the fit was perfect for me except I would go a 1/2 size up next time as I like more room in the front of my shoe when I run.

I love Mizuno, and I bought the wide size, but they are so tight along the top of the bridge of my foot that I unasked scissors to adapt them. They actually cut off the circulation to my toes. I am not heavy, nor am I especially hard on shoes, but I do have wide feet and high arches.
They make the toe area wide enough, but the area at the bottom of the laces remains sized for narrow feet. It's like shirts that make the body wide and keep the arms at small.

I don't like that the tongue is connected to the shoe. Laces are too short. Also do not like color

These days I usually fit into a size 7, sometime a 6.5. I ordered a 7, which was in fact too small. I returned it and ordered a 7.5. The length was better, but the shoes never really fit right. When I started running with them, I immediately noticed more than usual discomfort in the balls of my feet. Putting in arch support helped, but then after wearing the shoes for a while, I would experience pain in the joint of my big toes. I think the shoe was digging in and causing a bruise. I cannot wear these shoes anymore, and I only wore them for a total of about a month.
