Mizuno Wave Rider traditionally for me fits a half size smaller than Brooks Ghost (my other go-to running shoe). I also need to get the wide width in Mizuno every time compared to wearing the regular width in most other running shoes. Knowing this, I order a full size up from my normal shoe size and get the wide width. This is a winning combination for me and I have no problems with the change in model year-to-year. I just ran a 5 mile run and an 8 mile run in these right out of the box. They don't require a break-in time for me. I love my wave riders! Highly recommend for a neutral runner and recommend ordering a full size up from your normal shoe size. Colors can definitely be better. I am never really thrilled with the options.

Nice roomy toe box. Arch support is neutral, that’s good. The mid foot fits snug, but it is a nice supportive snug, not a this hurts and I hate it snug. The mid foot support keeps my feet from sliding around the shoe and banging my toe into the end of the toe box. Just a great cheerful color,

These look and feel wonderful.

I took a break from Mizunos bc I felt likwe they started to smell ealrierr than my other shoes, and after a 3 year break, I read good reviews so I decided to take a chance on them! I wore them for a half marathon today and I LOVE the cushioning. They were incredibly comfortable right out of the box. As for the smell issue, I will have to wait and see, but I am veery happy so far.

Great fit & comfort

I have wide-ish, flat feet — sometimes a size 9 regular works, sometimes an 81/2 wide. I took the Zappos size recommendation of 9 wide and the shoes fit perfectly. Super comfortable right out of the box (wore them straight to the gym for a training session and cardio machines.) Supportive — I have a little arthritis in one knee, and it feels much better in this shoe compared to others I’ve worked out in — but without that heavy/clunky feeling of many athletic shoes with thicker soles. Definitely one of my best shoe purchases.
