I have had 2 Baggallini (tan and black) 3-zipper bags. For many years have always opted for them when traveling as opposed to a pricier designer leather bag. Now I need a bag that will hold both my sunglasses and regular glasses in their hard-case and this purse is awesome ----fits everything that my 3 zipper did while maintaining the ability to thoroughly organize belongings with extra room to spare. For travel, the many compartments, the roomy center able to hold 2 glass-cases AND some; the front zippered part of the bag where important document cards and cash go in a compartment that is RFID protected and easy to access with the bag across shoulder and covered by the added flap and functional turn key trim for security. Also, top and center, the very deep hidden but easily accessible phone slot. The many bag color (and gold trim) choices, the shoulder strap C-clips that rotate: allowing one to attach/detach bag easily (especially handy at restaurants/bars) while preventing a twisted strap; Generally, the attention to functional detail and extra touches such as the ultradurable zippers that never get stuck in lining, the inside zipper pulls to assist, the little strap with hook in main compartment, and totally washable!!!!... I could go on and on! Thank you for your excellent designs and attention to detail and many choices of colors!

Love!!! For the size of this bag the organization within is awesome!! I also absolutely love the gold hardware really takes my baggallini obsession up a notch lol!!

I have not been out-and-about with my bag yet, as it only arrived a few days ago. So far I've switched contents from my old bag into this one, & I think I'm going to love it. It seems well made & confortable to wear. I'm used to carrying a wallet in my bags, so I'm anxious to see how the bag's "included wallet" will work for me.

Just the perfect size, enough pockets for everything to be organized!!!

My second purchase in a different color of the same cross body calais purse.

I recently purchased the Calais in black with gold. The bag is very cute and looks classic with the gold details. The feature of the bag are convenient and I think this will make a good everyday bag.

I have bought this style before and really like it so I purchased another one. Great features.

I wanted a bright red like it appeared to be in the picture. It is more like a burgundy. I'll keep it because I do like all the features.

This crossbody has enough room for all my needs. I mainly use it for traveling and day trips. I am able to find everything I need without having to search because it is so organized. It is not too heavy and just looks nice. I got the navy color and I love that it is a true navy.

This purse is a little smaller than I expected, however it holds everything I need without appearing bulky. I really love Baggallini purses.

I bought this bag for an everyday use bag. The size is great, colors are beautiful, and it is light to carry. I have several Baggalini bags and I am seldomly disappointed by their products!

This is my fourth purchase! I have never owned a purse that I like so much! Absolutely perfect in every way!

As always, every detail carefully planned. I may miss the water bottle pocket where I always stash my sunglasses, but can't tell yet. The skinny slippery strap may be a problem, especially with nylon jackets (I never crossbody), but another reviewer noted that replacement straps are available from Baggallini. The Ink Hydrangea pattern that caught my eye is beautiful and dark enough (darker than pictured) to not scream BLUE! at everyone. This is an intended downsize from an older, much loved pre-Covid Baggallini. (This one even has antibacterial protection!) I love this bag.

I had been using a bag very similar to this one (also a baggallini purse) but it lacked two wonderful features that the Calais bag has: the extra zip pocket, full size, on the front, and the zip coin pouch in the front organizer section. It really does keep things in place and easy to access quickly. The one possible weak link is the width of the bottom. (That's why I described it as "very nearly perfect." If I could change one thing in the design, it would be to add one more inch or so to the main section of the bag. Then I could describe it as "absolutely perfect." I'm in my seventies and have been carrying Baggallini bags for decades, but at my age, I'm still on a quest for the ultimate bag that meets my every need. Please bring an end to my quest with just one more inch.

I chose the black with gold tone hardware because it looks a bit dressy. It holds more than I would have guessed. I have been trying to downsize my handbags and this one is perfect to meet that goal. I will probably be ordering another color.

I received this bag as a gift. I am a bag-a-holic. I know bags! This was used during my month long trip to Sicily, Greece and Turkey. It provides a secure place for all of your travel documents and secure pockets for cash and credit cards. The RFID pockets were great and I felt protected against scanning thieves. The main compartment held all of my other niff-naw, glasses, etc. when I got back home I threw it in the washer and hung it to dry. This is quite frankly the perfect cross body. I love it!

Love the wallet feature of this purse. Makes it a one and done all day.

This is my third Calais bag. I was forced to downsize after shoulder surgery and was skeptical at first whether this bag would work but with the built in wallet I find it meets all my needs.

This is my second Calais bag. The Calais, for me, is the almost perfect handbag. It is one of 2 bags that have a slot for paper money. The everyday bag was the first to have that important feature. The Calais is a little larger than the Everyday original bag, which is the next almost perfect bag. But that little bit of extra space is great. And all the different zippered hidey holes are wonderful. I love having the things I don't need to get out often able to be put away. I never have to take my key fob out to start the car and it is always in its place. The cell phone hidden slot is great. The only improvement I might like is if there were credit card slots on both sides of the coin holder instead of the two larger pockets on one side. I have carried the black Calais for a year or so and just got the print for fun. I have over a dozen baggallini handbags and travel bags and love them all but this is my favorite.

I bought this as a birthday gift for my 22 year old niece and she loved it! She is traveling to Europe soon and loved all the compartments and the waterproof feature.
