I'm on my second Jester and looking to buy a third so I can have one designated for work and another for everything else. I'm obsessed with this updated design, however it seems to be lacking the little front pocket. I love that tiny pocket and it is great for small items and easy-access. My only hesitation with buying another Jester will be due to the fact that there isn't a tiny third outer pocket. Otherwise, I love these backpacks and they are so durable.

This bag can take me to the office, comfortably holding all I need, as well as coming on a day hike. Incredibly versatile backpack.

I think it's super cute!! The big compartment is my favorite!! Just wish that the first pocket went all the way down so I could have more room for my books and etc!

I have had the bag for about 4 years and I have no complaints. It is in great condition considering I have used it for school.

Everything was great for the past 2 years that I have had this bookbag but the problem is that one the pockets for the books were to small whenever I would put in my 15in laptop with out a sleeve it would make the bookbag really heavy... and then that on top of carrying binders my back was killing me! (mind you I only carried 2 2in binders, pencil pouch, folder, papers and a metal water bottle in the side pockets.) Also the water bottle packets ARE WAY TO SMALL if you have a 40oz water bottle it is impossible to get the stupid water bottle in the pocket... also if you look at the video provided THE WHOLE ZIPPER BROKE DURING THE MIDDLE OF SCHOOL SO ALL SCHOOL YEAR I CARRIED A BROKEN ZIPPER AND NORTH FACE REFUSED TO REPLACE THE BAG!!! EVEN THOUGH THEY SAID LIFETIME WARRANTY!

I bought this backpack to replace my black one... that my son "borrowed" and never gave back. He's been using his 2 years as a full time student and it's still holding up. I love my grey backpack. Fits a laptop perfectly. Awesome for travel as a personal item or a short weekend

The side pockets rip easily

Great quality bag as expected from North Face.

This is general comment about all their backpacks. I had one that lasted 10 years until the zipper finally went and I used it frequently. I just replaced it with 2 new ones; this one was on sale so it was great. These new ones feel a little more "tight" less roomy but I am thinking they will loosen out over time as it's the additional padding. Really impressed with the quality.

I actually ended up returning this bookbag. I bought it for college classes because I loved the look of it and it had the side pockets for a water bottle. I also liked having another pocket on the front of the bag. However, the bag is actually VERY small. It was able to fit my laptop, but not much else. It's very hard to get books in and out of the bag. The way the front pocket is situated, if it is full, it creates an awkward bulge at the top, which inhibits getting into the bottom of the bag from the main pocket and makes it top heavy. If you are using this for something like hiking or traveling, I would recommend.

My daughters are very satisfied with their backpack. Assuredly we will shop again at The North Face online.

I love this backpack because it's sturdy and structured well for back support and it's not straining to carry. It's great quality and also a great look. I got the one with the blue center. The only thing I would change is for the front pocket to be deeper; the blue front with the corset strings gave me the impression that the front pocket would reach to the bottom of the backpack but it only reaches halfway through the backpack. Overall, I do love this backpack especially for the sale price and I recommended it to a friend and she got it as well in all grey!

I ordered the wrong color and couldn't cancel because there was no "are you sure?" Or other fail-safes so I had to order two backpacks with the intent to return one..

I use this northface backpack for school. The backpack feels very comfortable in general. It has a lot of space but it gets heavy with a lot of stuff in it.

It has a very nice design, very confortable and very practical.

I use this backpack for school. Since I am in college this is the perfect backpack especially because I have to walk a lot. It is small, but roomy. It also has the perfect spot for my laptop!

I love this bag! I was so excited to start using it! So many practical pockets and space! Love the space for the laptop!

Fits a lot of stuff! Wish there were more pockets but other than that it has a nice design and is very lightweight.

I plan to use this to replace the diaper bag for travel with my children ( since all of my kids are out of diapers, but still require me to carry so much).

Very nice and good quality

I really like this bag and is my second purchase. It is lightweight and the perfect size for day trip or for a holiday. we use it for hiking as well. It's easy to wash and can easily fit laptop set of clothes and small toiletries!

Just received the bag today and I am plesantly suprised. I will admit, I almost regretted purchasing it because of some negative reviews about how small it is. However, it fits my needs appropriately but I do wish it had more pockets. Overall, I love the comfort, back-support, and simple style

It has a lot of space and is easily adjustable.
