My daughter asked for this to use as her school backpack. Positives: beautiful color, extremely tough and well-made, convenient exterior water bottle pocket. Negatives: could use a bit more interior room, especially for kids carrying around laptops. When it's fully packed, no room for her water bottle in the exterior pocket.

To me, backpacks are the ideal version of a purse. They have compartments to help you organize, they're hands free and durable. I can't imagine throwing a purse around like l can with my backpack. The Jester is my version of the ideal backpack. Over the years, this is the only backpack I purchase because it takes me a long time to wear them out, so keep making them, Northface, because I'll keep buying them!
