I am a student who goes from school to work. I carry a lot, it's great for all my books, laptop, pens and pencils and my work clothes. the side pockets are a good size for my water bottle and umbrella. Some backpacks, they are too short and the bottle always falls out. Not here. I love that it has a whistle built into the strap fastener. Really thoughtful and clever design. It is really well designed. I looked at a similar back in a popular retail store that was 30 dollars cheaper but the seams easily pulled and I could see it would tear before semester was over.

i like the backpack a lot i just wish it had maybe one more zipper and i don't like how small the front section is. when you open the front zipper it's only a small section that doesn't hold as much maybe like a pencil bag so the backpack tends to be smaller at the bottom half and bigger at the top half making it look a little weird

This backpack is really cute, it is a bit darker than it shows up there. I have to say I didnt love the the way it looked on my back, it was kind of small looking. I also didn't like that it only had one main compartment and nothing else but a smaller one. That was my fault though for not looking at it a little closer. I ended up returning this and found a borealis one at a North Face Factory store so it worked out!

i use this product for school. i'm a high school student and it fits my books perfectly with room to spare ! it also has a laptop pocket. it's a very cute design and is strong but light weight

Great for students books and computer.

My 10th grade daughter got this for school. It is a fabulous bag! Great design and colors and very comfortable. We like how it is made for a female frame. Lots of handy pockets and the fabric, zippers, etc. all seem to be good quality.

This product is great it fits everything I need for school or travel. It fits a lot but doesn't look huge, which is one con of other backpacks i've had in the past. I definitely would recommend to anyone who has a lot of notebooks and folders they need to carry. It doesn't really fit too many binders, but I don't use more than one so it works perfect for me.

I use this as my school bag and I love it!

I use my backpack for school and my books are heavy and thus book bag makes it easier to walk around the campus. I will never buy any other book bagn

Great backpack for college. I walk 3 miles per day and the straps are comfortable, not too wide. I like it because it is stylish, waterproof and holds my 15" HP laptop.

I use this backpack for traveling to and from school. It is cute, lightweight, and seems very durable (haven't had it for long yet). My previous North Face backpack lasted me 6 years in school. My only two tips would be: 1) if you don't have a lot to transport on a daily basis, this may be too roomy for you. My notebooks slouch down and bend in the main pocket if I just have a few items in there. However, when I have a lunchbox/my gym clothes everything fits perfectly. 2) The middle zip pocket is shallow. You can't fit any large items like books there - more for wallet, phone, keys. Otherwise, great backpack! I have been very pleased with my purchase.

Love the style and colors

I'm a freshman in college and decided to buy this backpack to look cute and be comfy. I can say that I absolutely loveee it, and even though it looks small, its very roomy! The only setback is that my laptop doesn't fit with its sleeve on, but thats not a huge deal to me. I would definitely recommend!!

LOVE IT! Simple but perfect. Doesn't get dirty easily either! It's a little bit small but it's not that bad, favorite book bag!

Fits well and lots of storage

Life as a middle schooler is difficult enough without having to worry about all the physical baggage you carry. This North Face backpack is the best for carrying loose papers, detention slips, notes from secret admirers and books you will never open!

My parents purchased it from my wish list for my freshmen year at UCCS.

I'm a college student and this backpack is perfect for my laptop and books. The two pocket on the sides of the outside of the bag are perfect for my umbrella, water bottle, keys, or anything I constantly use and don't want to put inside of the zippers. The bag is durable and will probably last a lifetime.

good- only one pocket. not sure how much of an advantage the "womens" piece

My daughter uses it everyday for 8th grade for all of her books and school supplies. Works great and looks great!

Great for traveling, school, work or anything you do that requires hauling your things! It is very roomy and offers plenty of pockets to stay organized.

I'm going to use this product for school. My back always hurts when I carry a lot of books and so I decided to buy a north face backpack to help me with the weight.

I really liked the design of the bag, but it was stiffer then I thought it would be right out of the box. However, that will probably change after some use. The front pockets are also shallower then I thought it would be, but the bag is spacious and fine overall. The side pockets are deep though!
