I used this bag for school and I have lots of things. Although it is a little snug due to the zippers not going down all the way it expands enough for me to fit all things in comfortably. I love the look and the feel and excited to finally own a durable backpack.

It's lightweight and easy to stuff. Great for College

This is a really pretty backpack. The only thing I dislike and the only reason I only give four stars is because of the pockets. The second pocket with the organization thing is rather short and not deep. . . It looked like it went to the bottom of the bag online. I'm a little bummed

best backpack ever

This is my backpack for college. I bought it because it was a good size without going overboard, and it's durable. I know it will last me through my college years and beyond :).

I purchased this for a trip to Yellowstone NP/Grand Teton NP/Colorado. The first thing I noticed was the outstanding quality of the bag. I sew and know poor quality when I see it & feel it. During our trip I couldn't get over how comfortable the backpack was! Whether I had it loaded down or almost empty, I was able to wear it all day with no back or shoulder problems. Since returning from our trip I have continued to use it daily to bring my laptop to/from work (HP ProBook 650) and to the baseball fields complete with my first aid kit, snacks and drinks. My small purse fits nicely in the bag along with all the other stuff. So now I only have to carry one very comfortable bag with everything in it.

I'm a law student. This is perfect for my needs.

I use it for college stuff. It's a bit small for books and a laptop. But the selling point for me is the tall water bottle net holders. I always carried around dented water bottles because these fell off the holders of the bags. Finally I found this bag.

the bag is super cute! i got it for college as i heard good things about it. HOWEVER, i started seeing problems not even a month in. the front pocket is on the top half of the bag so even when full, the bag is very top heavy. this makes it a bit uncomfortable to wear when it's full but that wasn't too much of an issue since i never have to walk too far with it. additionally, since it's top heavy, whenever i set it down, it falls on its front face. this might not be an issue for the darker colors, but i bought the light pink so this caused it to get very dirty, very fast. i've tried to get out the dirt but certain parts of the bag it's just not possible. also the fabric on the bottom is starting to wear through, and i wouldn't say the stuff i carry is too heavy. definitely seems like a great bag at first but be cautious of these things, especially if you will have long walking commutes with it or are considering the lighter colors. i've had it for a year and a half and am already looking to replace it. i was hoping it would last longer!

Nice backpack - gets so dirty

i got the backpack at a nearby mall today, and the labeling is not what it is like on the picture. the top center label has shifted to the right and the bottom label has shifted and rotated to the left.

Very nice, but small. Does not work well if you use a case-it. Hard to zipper due to flatness.

The backpack turned out to be smaller in space than I expected. Not many things fit in it. Everything else is fine

My main complaint with this bag is that I would have hoped the main body of the bag be bigger or be expandable or somehow have more space. In terms of durability, quality and aesthetics I feel you cannot beat what north face has produced here. I like putting things in the top outer pocket for easy access, so unfortunately this portion (of the overall bag) ends up looking bulkier and shoved with many items. I really enjoy the stretchy elastic at the front and have used it for my bicycle helmet, lunch container or other gear.

I use this for school everyday and while it looks nice, it doesn't hold very much at all. For example if you brought a sweatshirt with you, tough luck, now you have to carry it all day because it sure won't fit in your bag.

This backpack is made well but is too small for a high schooler to fit everything in.

Really nice backpack but way smaller than needed. Like the smaller compartments to be able to sort out items. There's not enough room for all the stuff that was needed to go in there. Had to go out and buy another backpack to replace this one.

It's for college but little bit small. I was expecting little bit bigger.

My daughter purchased the backpack for school. The back is not soft or comfortable against her back. She comes home everyday complaining that her back is sore/hurting. Not recommended for school use.

You would think this backpack fits everything but it doesn't even fit 2 notebooks and a binder and doesn't have any room on the side parts to fit my Stanley cup I wouldn't recommend for school.

I bought this backpack for my granddaughter. She said it is narrow and can't get a lot of her things in it. However she liked the color and style do she decided to keep it.

Thought about trying because of this cute color and women's style but the inside is way too small

My 5 th grader uses this backpack. Its cute and comfortable but not enough room for all her materials.

I bought this for my 18-year-old college student and she has a big frame. Therefore, the backpack fits her as if it were made for a child.

I really like it, the only thing I don't like is that it is relatively small and only has two pockets. Otherwise, cute and durable.
