i love how this backpack doesn't get too bulky after you put a lot of things inside. it looks great and i know a few people that have had this same backpack for years, and it still looks and works great because it's durable.

I loved the design of the Women's Jester backpack from the moment I saw it. It's very sleek and looks nice while still maintaining a certain simplicity. I've had it for about three weeks now, and it has proved very durable for a bag that has been used to lug heavy textbooks to and from class. The texture of the fabric is very nice as well, and during a five-or-so minute downpour that I was stuck in, the bag managed to keep all of my notes completely dry. I can't speak of the bag's use as hiking equipment yet, but I'm sure it would prove up to the task. The bag does lose points, however, for a few key reasons. First, the waterbottle pockets on either side are very tight. I'm sure this is to keep the bottle secure, but I wish that the pockets were deeper rather than so hard to access. It usually requires two hands to place the water bottle in the bag. Secondly, it's really hard to get the back to remain propped upright. I place a small folder in the laptop compartment and then three 1-inch binders in the main compartment of the bag, and although they fill the width pretty well, the bag is so deep that when I go to stand it up against my desk it falls over due to a lack of a proper base.

I bought this backpack for high school. I wanted to be able to carry 2-3 binders, laptop, lunch, water bottle, gym shoes, and some extra items. Unfortunately, the backpack was far too small for my needs.

I use it everyday for very light weight

This bag has much more room than the previous bag I owned, the Borealis. I like both designs but if you're looking for a roomy, practical bag, go with this one! Not to mention their great customer service.

I use this backpack for school and its THE BEST. So comfortable and lightweight and holds my stuff for daily use. Could be a little bigger, the side pockets hold my Hydroflask, but it's a little tight but overally, so cute and great for daily use!

Got it for my dougters, both loves it. Has style yet comfy and roomy.

This backpack is great, lots of space. I wish there could be more pockets but that's not essential. I can't wait to use it for travel.

I use this backpack for college and I can fit about 3 large sized textbooks in this backpack. The only thing I would change is the make of the straps. If they were softer and didn't have plastic on the middle then it would be a lot more comfortable to carry around your shoulders.

I really enjoy this product. I have to have a laptop for several of my classes, and this is the perfect backpack. My computer is a 15" and it fits perfectly in the laptop sleeve with my case on it. The only down side to the backpack is that the second zipper pouch only unzips halfway, so doesn't leave much room for anything. Other than that, I have no issues with this backpack and would 9/10 recommend it to someone.

I've purchased 3 of these backpacks now, one for each of my kids as they entered high school. They all have been very satisfied with them for the amount of storage they need, for books, a secure place for their laptop, water bottles, etc. The backpack is lightweight yet durable and well designed and constructed. I'm planning to purchase one for myself next.

I would definitely buy this backpack if I were you. I'm a college student and bring my laptop with me everyday to class with 2 notebooks, and lots of snacks lol. It even holds my big lunch bag. very sturdy and nice!

I love this product, the color, how it feels, the ease of carrying things on my back! I take it to work and it holds my lunchbox, planner, purse and anything else I need all in one place making me hands free.

This backpack holds every thing I need and it's super cute and comfortable. It supports my back so my books aren't too heavy and it also holds my 15" computer perfectly.

I loved NorthFace backpacks and I had an older version of the jester and they came out with the new version and I got it after having my old jester about 5-6 years. I am so impress with my new one because it has more space and looks nicer. I liked how it has a space for the lap area and it has more support for the back.

I was on the fence about spending more than 40 bucks on a backpack but, I decided to to make the investment when I realized the backpack I'd had since high school was not going to cut it as a working professional (read shoulder pain, inadequate pocket spaces and constantly trying to dislodge stuck zippers). I ended up purchasing this backpack because 1. Northface was having a great sale and 2. my husband has had a NF backpack for the past couple of years and is obsessed with his. I have to say since receiving it a few weeks ago, I'm officially sold. It's so comfortable on my shoulders and lower back, the pockets on the sides and inside allow me to stow away small items without the fear of losing them or constantly having to sift through the depths of the bag to locate them, and as an added bonus it looks really sleek and stylish.

I have scoliosis and I was looking for a backpack that wouldn't cause me so much pain when carrying around all my books. I've always just had a basic jansport backpack and it would cause me tons of pain in my shoulders and lower back. I knew it wasn't recommended to carry so much weight because of my condition but as a college student there's really no way around it. Investing in this backpack was the best idea ever! I carry the same weight that I did in the jansport (sometimes more) and do a lot more walking (I transferred to a larger school) and there is zero soreness or pain like there was before! The backpack moves with you and doesn't feel like it's just weighing you down! Only downside that I can find to it is that I wish it had maybe an extra pocket at the front or more compartments. Besides that, it's the best backpack I've ever had!!!!
