I use this bag for commuting on my motorcycle. It used to be a good bag, but it was redesigned and now it is worthless. The top is squared off, which makes the zipper stick.. The bag is longer and not as deep. If you fill the large compartment, the smaller department is restricted. Should have stuck with the old design

Lighting up my granddaughter's eyes when she saw her Northface Jester backpack was all I needed to know I found a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. She was ecstatic. Now I wear a Best Grandma and Grandpa badge!

All around great backpack with enough space to keep the essentials and then some. Love the space for the laptop and the side pockets are great for a water bottle or two. I Keep one in the car during the winter with cold weather supplies.

Received this as a gift to replace older north face backpack that I had for ten years. So far I like the design, I'm utilizing the laptop pouch for my tablet as my laptop has a case that doesn't fit. This jester has less straps than the previous models but the water bottle holder is much taller than previous models. Very excited to use, would love a gift card.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend - he loves it!!!

Overall, I really like the new navy and white backpack I just bought. It has good storage inside for the most part, I love the deep pockets on the side for tall water bottles. One thing that bugs me is that the laptop sleeve seems to have gotten smaller and it's not so easy to insert my 15.3" screen laptop as it used to be. But overall, a great backpack.
