I used the old version on this backpack since 2019 my first day of college (in 28 now) And I've used it everyday for work. I have formed an emotional attachment to the bag lol so I was super sad when the strap ripped. I understand it was OLD. But during my usage the old version not a single part of the bag stopped working or broken On me. I'm super glad north face still has this model and tbh it's improved a lot over the years. Best purchase I've ever made. Lol
