I'm a heavy guy and my knees and legs get tired from walking on tile floors all day at work. Johnston and Murphy's are always my go to for support. Wasn't sure what to expect with these but they are super light , comfortable and my legs and knees still feel fresh at the end of the day. Also, they are very stylish in person and I always get compliments. I'll be ordering my second pair soon. Thanks !

Looks good and very comfortable

The Holden Plain Toe is comfortable and well designed shoe! What attracted me to the shoe were the Grey soles! Great contrast any outfit! Great Purchase!!!

The Holden Plain Toe shoes I purchased are very comfortable. The only slight issue I have is that the color grey, which I expected to match a grey belt purchased from J&M, has a slightly brownish hue to it, not quite the same as the belt.

Great shoes. I have two pair.

I'm a pharmacist and literally stand all day long. I've been looking for professional shoes that are as comfortable as tennis shoes and I've finally found them... and without white soles! Anytime I've seen these in other brands they may be polishable, but they often come with white soles that easily get dirty and or stick out like a sore thumb. These grey bottoms blend right in and don't look dirty brown after months of wear like others. I have the brown and black and don't think I could ever wear another shoe to work again.

Great purchase

As you can see in my first picture, all of my shoes are Johnston & Murphy. This pair did not disappoint. Comfortable right out of the box. I have had this pair for a few weeks now and my feet actually sent me a letter thanking me yet again for giving them the best quality shoes on the market.

Love the shoes!

I have always favored traditional look including the soles (i.e. leather). So I wasn't a big fan of the "white" soles until I tried these on. Now I will be purchasing other shoes with similar soles.

Gave them to my husband for his birthday. He loves them and thinks they are very comfortable. Because of relaxing dress codes at work he can wear them to the office.
