I got these in a half size bigger than my usual 9 since I'd ordered and returned another pair of plim souls. These sneakers are HEAVY and very stiff. I found the insoles to be very hard and uncomfortable. My feet have gotten wider since gaining weight and the wide seemed too narrow at times. Couldn't wear these for more than an hour. Zipper worked fine once opened and closed a couple of times, very convenient once your shoes are tied!

These are cute, but the heel is uncomfortable. I thought I could break them in, but I haven't been able to. As a result, I can't wear no show socks with them, but have to wear low profile running socks with a thicker tab around the ankle, making them look a little less cute.

I like the look of these sneakers but my heels lift with every step. I'm afraid it may cause a blister as well as be uncomfortable. I got an 8.5w and it felt like this was the right size and the support seemed good but the heel problem was something I didn't want.

Lining on sole is very thick so shoe sits low on the foot and heel slipped. Nice looking shoe, slightly narrower than I had hoped in a Wide fit shoe.

Fits well. Very Cute. These are not walking shoes and by that I mean would not be suitable for an all day excursion of walking in the city. The arch support is good but that's it. There is hardly any cushion in the ball of the foot and heel. And mine make a squeaking noise when I walk!

The end of the zipper rubbed on my toe. Overall felt a little narrow.

This shoe is uncomfortable. It is stiff and the back is short - it didn’t come up high enough on my heel to be secure when walking.

Well, the zipper on the left shoe consistently fails while walking. Have tried several times to adjust the laces with no ling-term success. Very frustrated and disappointed. And doesn’t seem can return since they have been worn. Again, quite disappointed.

I wanted these Taos Footwear Z-Soul to work as they are so incredibly stylish.. Regrettably, they are just not comfortable and are very heavy and I can't imagine walking more than 15 minutes in them

The fit was only narrow in the toe box - the upper left side of my toe rubbed a bit on the inside of the shoe. Also disappointed that the heel slipped in the back. Cute style though. Just not comfy.

Cute and good fit, but this style is heavy and stiff. Laces were also too long, so I ended up with a big, floppy bow or long ends to tuck inside (which isn't comfortable).

These are cute casual shoes. The quality is nice. They look great on my feet. If you are wondering whether to go with a wide width, chose the wide. The toe area is narrow, and the beginning of the zipper rubs my toe after a few hours of wear. They felt comfortable at first but rubbed in multiple places after wearing all day. I would choose a different pair without the zipper.

The ONLY problem is with the zipper.

The backs rubbed against my heels terribly, as soon as I tried them on. The arch support felt nice, and the zippers are wonderful, but I would have blisters in 5 minutes with these. Rats.

These are super cute, but the wide isn't even close to being a wide. Lengthwise, it's a 7. Width-wise, it's not a 7W. Sure I could get my foot in, but the shoelace area was practically open all the way. I have wide feet, but they're nothing crazy. Also, my heel came out of the back, so it's too wide in the heel, but not wide enough in the rest of the foot. Most women I know who have wide feet are like me - duck feet - narrower in the back and broader in the front; it's not like the heel gets so much wider; It's so hard to find wides where manufacturers understand that.

Love the look of the shoe (grey plaid) and the arch support. However, it’s a heavy shoe and the heel feels wide (ordered shoe in wide) like it would start to rub. Will probably return.

The insert, which I really like because of the support, meant the shoe didn't fit at all - just no room from top to bottom. The style is super cute but can't overcome the fit, which was also at least a half size small.

I love the tie shoes with zippers. The styling on this is sharp. The fit for me rubbed on my toes on one side. They felt heavy for a summer sneaker. I sent them back.

Stylish sneakers with laces for good fit and a cute zipper on side for easy on and off. Bought the light blue canvas and color was nice. Good arch support inserts for comfort. Cute sneaker but decided to return as they were a bit heavy and decided I prefer a lighter slip on sneaker for the summer.

Super cute, but disappointed in the lack of comfort. They run small. I did return my first pair for a larger pair and they still feel stiff and uncomfortable.

I am sending these back because there is too many things going on inside the shoe. Too many places to feel uncomfortable on the two sides of the tongue and in the toe box. They're pretty hard on the inside as well. Surprised because I love my TAOS sandals I got a few years ago and wore all over Europe. Was hoping for the same experience with these.

I so wanted to love these shoes. The style and pattern are adorable. However, as so many other purchasers have noted, the shoe is not deep enough. Removing the arch support is not an option for me as I need it for a surgically repaired ankle.

I got these because I thought that the zipper would make putting them on/taking them off easy. Unfortunately, the zipper doesn’t zip up all the way unless I do it before putting them on, so I still have to tie them. The zipper also doesn’t stay zipped while I’m walking so they always feel like they are too loose. I’ve been wearing them trying to troubleshoot the issue so I can’t return them.

I'm not sure if these are meant to be warn unzipped, but I had trouble getting my foot in when they were...nice styling, kind of like an upscale Keds, but just too small and narrow
