I bought a new set of these boots in May 2023. It is now January 2024. Along the stitch line for the sole, the boots are already cracking an excessive amount. Very frustrating for a boot that costs this much. I absolutely would not buy again. I've had nothing but bad luck with all my Irish setter and red wing products.

I bought these pair 2 months ago they are very comfortable but the stitches already ripped on them. Very disappointed with the the prices you pay.

Below is my review from 3 years ago. I am on my 1st set of 83630. I love them. The 83632 made it 2 years no problem working in the oilfield. I have a heel strike and walk on the outside of my feet. The boots are still holding up but I wear the soles out on the outside. I'm currently working a 4 week hitch 13 hour days wrapping up a turn a round. and I'm on day 24 in these boots and my feet feel great. I just ordered another 83630 tonight. My back, knees and feet feel great in these boots and I will continue to order them. We had 160 contractors onsite and a lot of crews are saying the same thing. 2020 review-If you have made it to this website and these reviews do yourself, your feet, your knees and your back a favor and just BUY NOW. I work in oil and gas in Alaska. I bought this boots in April 2020 I work a 2x2 schedule 13 hour days and average 15K steps a day. A coworker told me to get these and I have not looked back. Going to get another pair in the new darker color. I wear these a half size smaller, normally a 12 in other brands, 11.5 in these. I have seen other trades wearing these as well and they swear by them to. I have oiled them 2 times in 6 months and they feel great now and right out of the box.

Ill never buy other boots as long as they keep making these

Great boots for the type of work i do. I can walk confidently through small to medium size puddles of water daily and these are truly waterproof. The comfort has also held for over a year now, i am not in need of new boots but i am already 100% sure i will buy the same exact boot just in a darker color when the tkme comes. The only wear and tear i have after over a year of light to medium use is the soles, i walk a bunch wearing these and the soles have worn down slightly.
