These were a gift for my son-in-law for his birthday and he loved them!

Fit was good. Made like a tank just like l remember the Irish Setters when I wore them 45 years ago. Only bad thing they are too heavy and too stiff for my old feet and legs.

Pretty good quality leather that really takes well to cleaning and conditioning (Leather Honey is my preferred product, but should work well with other cleaners/conditioners.) The first several days were pure agony as the leather tongues worked themselves to be less stiff against my ankle bones. The only other complaint I have is that, unlike their parent company - Redwing - these boots do not have the feature of replacable soles. Once a hole in the sole-seam is present, or once the soles are worn out, these boots are toast. Haven't nearly reached that point, even with an average of 7 miles/day on the job, but I REALLY wish Zappos and *my employer* could work out a deal on getting some EH rated Redwings approved.

Wish I could write a review but i haven't tried on the boots yet, cause ZAPPOS has poor quality control, I recieved the boots i ordered but no insoles...talk about customer service.

Boots are very sturdy and comfortable.

Love the Irish setter wing shooters. The 8” tall ones are more comfortable to me. That’s probably just a wearer’s preference.

A beautiful classic wedge boot. Stylish and goes well with light and dark jeans/pants. Its my first time owning a pair of Irish Setters and I am very pleased with them; a fan for life. The boot fits true to size and I absolutely love that.

I bought these for work. Did not take long to break in, and they’ve been super comfortable. So comfortable that I began wearing em outside of work too. I know everyone says Red Wings are the best work boots, but I gotta say, these have been the best boots I’ve ever owned.

This boot is so comfy. After breaking them in, the boot feels lightweight. I have gone a whole year wearing them now and will be looking into getting a second pair. I'm usually a 9 but an 8.5 fits me pretty good!

I've been wearing these for work over a year and can walk for hours in them without my feet hurting. Have worn other similar shoes from another brand and my feet hurt after 6 hours. Highly recommend these.

I typically walk a few miles a day at work in them and they are very comfortable

Didn’t even have to break in, these are great boots. Couldn’t be happier with them, I wear them every day at work and am constantly on my feet.

Work made me get safety shoes on Zappos with a credit. First pair were painful to wear since I spend 12 hours per shift on concrete floors. This time around I sprang some of my own money for Red Wings. Glad I did they are very comfortable now that they are broken in.

After the wear in time the boots are great, the style, the fit, the feel. I would recommend these to anyone for a work boot and i have been wearing this style for over two years and still no complaint.

Received my boots and my size is a 9M, but this boot runs about a half size larger. The boot looks nice and of good quality, but I don't how they feel until I get my exchange. Thats all I can help you with for now.

All my boots I buy in 9 wide aint wide and they all are form fitting our form fitting these boots fit me perfect in the toes perfect in the toes and heel but don't but don't contour the center part of my foot it's part of my foot so they kind of look and feel a little weak yeah kind of look and feel a little weird overall I'd too like that overall I do like them just wonder if I should have gotten wonder if I should have got the regular width the regular width and just stretch them out Even though that would have been a little we're in a little painful.

I have small feet ,so I would highly recommend this to those type of people .They look good and they feel great .They are a perfect size for my feet.They are nice and snug.

Definitely get wide. They take a good week to break in after that they are very good. I'm in them for about 12 hours a day and I can say they are way better than any timberland pro I have ever bought.

Feeling pain on ankles due to tight traces, size feels little bigger than your foot consider buying.05 less cuz they will expand
