I’ve worn multiple pairs of the XA Pro in size 10 for years. This new version is a full size smaller and narrower.

Bought these a few months ago. I wear them daily. It's been dry and not raining here but feet get wet when walking in wet dewy grass. Not waterproof at all. Forth pair of Salomons but also last pair. I already need to replace now that fall is coming and wet weather. *I bought in the spring.

Loved my first ever pair of Xa Pro GTX. Wore them out so bought a new pair, but the new version as I couldn't buy the original ones. They have lasted 3 months. I'm so disappointed. There's clearly a design or manufacturing issue. This has happened on both shoes and the soles have warn out already.

I bought these shoes 8 months ago. They were a comfortable fit and I was pleased with them. After a month, they let in water, even though they are advertised as being Gortex and waterproof. I bought a water proofing spray and sprayed every few weeks. Soon the Gortex started to split and now the soles have come away from both shoes. These are very poor quality shoes and not at all worth the money I paid. I use them for walking my dog so they do about 2-3 miles/ day and are only 8 months old. I am interested to hear why they are not water proof and are not fit for pupose?

Sorry to say but you've clearly not read my review I sent you weeks ago when I had to return them to you. It read that after wearing them for half hour in the house they became very tight restricting and uncomfortable on the width at the front of the shoe.

Got these and felt I was ready for winter- I now am wearing running shoes in 10f weather with 29 inches of snow on the ground because my toes are absolutely shot! Tight toe box and super stiff sole. I have a 10 and easily should have been up 1/2 maybe 1 full size .they could have been ideal for the current winter conditions but I can't face putting them on one more time. They should donated but then I would feel bad for the recipient!!

Borderline 100% miserable. Been tracking on trails for years. Was super excited about this new pair - great lacing system & decent gortex layer but have been using for 4 weeks and due to the sole with barely any bend in it the muscles in the metatarsal area of my foot are so sore. Sadly this pair of Salomons will not be worn out but probably just donated.

I recommend that you don't buy them. I've worn XA PRO 3D GTX shoes for years and they have been fantastic. I recently bought this version of the shoe (XA PRO 3D v8 GTX). I put them on today to go for a walk and within walking less than 1 km I was in excruciating pain. The arches of my feet and knees were in absolute agony. The shoes have a very hard foot bed, a hard sole and are extremely stiff around the ankle. These shoes cause injury and should be removed from the market. My brand new shoes are probably destined for the landfill site. I need to rethink purchasing from companies that design and manufacturer poor quality products that pollute the environment.

When I opened the box, I liked the style of these but after 2 wears it was obvious that the shoelace going down further to the toe was bad design. Every time I would flex my foot while jogging it would hurt. I needed up returning them.
