I use them for business casual work. I will at times use them as approach shoes on talus.

This is my second pair because they fit well, support well, and last a long time (2 years of a lot of running miles). Welcome improvements would be deeper and tougher tread to give better traction over the life of the shoe.

3rd pair, now updated and lighter. Walk many many miles in this shoe, and highly recommend them.

Delivered quite quickly. The size was perfect. The first time I put them on, I felt discomfort, but after 10 minutes, the shoes took the shape of my feet. After two weeks of use, I get only positive emotions. The shoes are very comfortable, convenient for walking and running.

This is my 4th pair of Salomons for rough trails. They take the beating instead of my feet.

This is my 6th pair of shoes in the XA Pro line, and so far this is my favorite. As usual, Salomon fit super well and are super comfortable. I opted for this color scheme to get a bit more vibrancy in my outfits and I am super happy. The contrast between the bright blue and the gold/black is really cool. I also bought these in part because I recently purchased a pair of waterproof Salomon XA Pro shoes and wanted something to breathe better in the heat where I live. Of all my shoes, these breathe the best and keep my feet cool and dry during the day. Amazing, love these shoes.

I recently purchased a pair of these shoes, and I'm happy with my choice. These shoes combine style, comfort, and performance flawlessly. I have stupid feet that can't decide if they want to be flat or high arched.These shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have found and I work in an outdoor companies warehouse so I have tried on a lot. I have owned this model previously and I got close to two years. I then upgraded to the gortex version which was not as breathable and wore out after about a year. My hope is that these can hit the two year mark again. I can offer only a single negative: I love the quicklace system it is capable of being tight enough all day without constant adjustment and loosens immediately. After wearing my current pair for less than a month they have started creaking when I walk. If my last couple pairs are anything to go by the creaking will only get louder. However with that being said I still bought a third pair and hopefully in two years will happily buy a fourth.

I recently replaced the same shoe I purchased two years ago. These are my go-to everyday shoes and I couldn't be happier.

Perfect for what i needed. Walking In Jerusalem and surrounding wilderness areas in June in 100 degree temperatures. Great support, traction and comfort.

I have a 7 year old pair of XA Pro 3D's that I wore until the soles ran flat and kept on wearing because the uppers were still fantastic. I ordered a new pair of the XA PRO 3D V8's for a hiking trip to Spain traversing the Picos De Europa and they performed just as well as the previous ones did. They dry very fast and are great for hut travel since they can work as slip-on's due to the draw string fastener. Highly recommend if they fit your feet (I had to size up a half size)

Long time Salomon fan. Bought these as I am an Outdoor Guide and the XA Pro to add to my collection. The XA Pro provides the stability needed for guiding guests through varied terrain.

Great everyday hiker. You should get a pair. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my xcountry trip with my teenager daughter 06/2023. Putting about 50 miles combination of red rock hiking and daily walk so far. 1. The fit is solid. 2. The quick lace system is convenience and glove fitting (the medial anchor is a bit weird but seem to be very functional) 3. I specifically like the grip. Doing a lot of sand stone bouldering and this shoe grip is fantastic. stick like glue. 4. the inner sole is comfortable even after 10 miles hard hike. 5. I have the blue/yellow color. it seem flashy when new, but after a coat of dust, it looks rather cool ;-) Mine is not Gore-Tex version and have not get it it wet yet. so no review on that. Overall, it is a well made and comfortable shoe for light to moderate hiking.

I bought these for my husband last year for Christmas.He loved it so mcuh he asked me for another pair but in blue for his birthday.The design is really comfortable and it is really nice .

Fits well, good support, light and airy, the blue color is a little much though.

Salomon XA PRO 3D v8 is a great shoe with comfort right out of the box. The XA PRO 3D shoe has been my favorite trail shoe for many years. They are well constructed of good material and quality workmanship. I will continue to buy this line of Salomon's.

This is my 3rd set in a row of these shoes. I wear them every day including hiking and rock hopping. Very comfy. My first two pairs lasted two years each. The soles wear out before the stitching, and you never have to buy shoelaces!
