I work in healthcare and use this for work. It's good that it's waterproof. Good support on my feet.

The shoes arrived fast, that was a plus. But the problem is with the craftsmanship of the "tongue" of the shoes. With this design, both sides of the "tongue" are connected with the upper body of the shoe for better protection of the feet; the idea is a great one. But that creates challenges for manufacturing because it creates a fold of material so that the "tongue" can be lifted up when one puts in one's foot or takes it out. That's where the problem lies. I ordered two sizes just in case the style requires adjustment in sizing. Out of the four shoes, three had bulging folds of the tongue; they look ugly. Only one shoe has a clean fold that doesn't bulge. I just returned both pairs. I am not sure if I should still order the right sized pair, because I worry that with a 75% defect rate, the next pair might have the same problem. I am very sad. Several months ago, I ordered the boots WOMEN'S ULTRA FASTPACK IV MID FUTURELIGHT, and they are the best boots I have ever had. I wrote a review of it after two weeks of purchase because I was very happy with the look and the performance of the boots. Now that I've worn them several months through much more hiking in all weather conditions, including heavy rain for an hour and a half without the inside getting wet and with my feet staying warm, I cannot be happier. And the boots came with GREAT craftsmanship with the same design of the tongue, and they look very stylish. That was why I bought the sneakers of the same design for the summer months, and I must way I was shocked by the poor craftsmanship; it is beneath North Face brand name, really. I'm not going to complain too much, as I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the pandemic that makes working conditions difficult. I think I'll just wait a bit and see if I'll order another pair of the same design of sneakers or a different design from North face. I still trust North Face since everything else I've bought from it over the years is of great quality.

I wear these to work where I am on my feet for up to 10 hours. The sneakers I had before left me limping. My NorthFace shoes fixed that and kept it at bay!

These shoes were perfect the moment I put them on. No need to "break them in" at all. The grip no slip is AMAZING. I was instantly inspired to get out more and explore!

I bought these in Feb or so. They are great when it's wet and cold. Great traction and dry feet. BUT if it gets anywhere above 60 degrees they are HOT. Really hot. Not really sweaty in them which is odd but really retains heat. I'm wondering if future light in a shoe is better suited for winter gear. Would love the same shoe without the future light. Never has an issue with being too hot with Gortex

My last North Face hiking shoes lasted me 5 years. They were looking a little rough and I have recently been running on trails intermittently so wanted a lighter shoe. I normally wear a 9.5 but my previous shoes were a 10 so that is what I ordered. They felt really nice at first! Unfortunately I wore them for about 15 miles over the span of 3 weeks and developed blisters every single time. My feet were sliding too much. And then I noticed the eyelets on the inner side of both shoes were bent. It's a very hard piece of plastic and I could only bend one back but it looked like it was about to snap in half. I contacted TNF and they said I could return them for a full refund. Great customer service. But I'm so sad -- I really need new hiking shoes!!!

I work standing all day since I have ultra fastpack futurelight my day is a lot easier my feet do not get tired since I walk up and down, I really love my shoes.

I had been searching for a new pair of waterproof walking shoes and after buying and returning several pairs, I finally found these! They are very comfortable and perfect for walking the dog through dewy grass in the morning. The North Face shoes never disappoint!
