I wanted an everyday work tote-to-backpack intending to carry a card-sized wallet, iPad mini, essential meds/cosmetic bag, and occasionally a thin planner book, over-ear Beats, and an eyeglass case. It's much too small for any of this. I love color accents in general, which is why it appealed to me, but it really misses the mark and is indiscernible in scale and styling from a youth product.
Importantly, the tote handles cannot be put away- wearing this as a backpack with longer tote handles hanging off the back is not just a messy aesthetic blight, it is a personal safety liability. The back straps kind of tuck in but unhooking them leaves other dangling straps at the waist.

I love Timbuk2 products so I was thrilled to find this tote/backpack. Sadly, it's too small, doesn't fit a laptop and the water bottle holder is so tiny. This is the first time I've been disappointed in a Timbuk2 product. It was sent back the same day it arrived.

Don't waste your money. This bag is much smaller than it appears online and the backpack straps are long and awkward if you're using it as a shoulder bag. Wasted my money and I can't get a refund!

I would give it zero star if I could.
I never leave reviews but this backpack has me soooo frustrated I feel compelled to write one.
This backpack does not do anything you want it to do. The only thing I find it worthy is that it is water resistant.
It doesn't not stand on its own. Wider opening and narrow base, it would probably still fall if I were put a brick inside it as base. Even if you lean it against the wall, it smoothly slides off the wall. If you have experience with those umbrellas that absolutely do not stand against the wall and keep sliding, falling or free-styling, this backpack does the SAME THING. I am finding compatible no-slip materials to glue to the bottom...
And DON'T get me started on how the straps never stay on my shoulders. I do look really swag with it because I am forced to carry it with the straps L-shape. One on the shoulder, the other on the arm, because no matter how tight I make them, one strap will fall off my shoulder, despite my clothing choices (in case some would think I wear slippery/silky/velvety clothes). Oh I have wife shoulders. God bless those who own this backpack but have narrower shoulders.....
(One of) the worst backpack I have had in my life..
I am sure they have better options, stay away from this one...

The bag was much smaller than it appeared. Not worth the price.
