They look good but I would not recommend these. They are stiff and not a great fit. My personal opinion on the fit, compared to other brands and sizes

While this shoe is light and well constructed, it is also cut very small. I wear braces and have custom insoles, and usually purchase an 8 mens, even though my feet are sized as an 8 1/2 women's. Normally that gives plenty of room for me to remove their insoles and put in my own, as well as to have the extra width to wear my ankle braces. Not even close in this case. They fit like a small 8 women's, rather than an 8 men's. My wife, who wears an 8 mens, couldn't even get the boots on, they were so small.

Needed a good pair of hiking boots for work and expected these to be good for walking through all types of weather and terrain but feet were soak after just a few steps in grass with a little dew on it

The shoe sizing is pretty good. The shoe itself is Asymmetrical And are oddly pointed up at the front.

Overall, this is a comfortable hiking shoe, but it is not durable and the black material along the edge was separating from the shoe after 3 hikes.

Treated myself to these for a long, wet backcountry trip in Gros Morne. Had wet feet 30 mins into hike and they stayed wet for 4 days. These boots have no business being labelled as waterproof. In fact, it's almost like they are reverse waterproofed - once water was in, there was absolutely no way it was leaving the boot unless you unlaced and dumped it out. Otherwise a great boot. If you live in a desert, buy these.

Returned. Right shoe was noticeably smaller than the left shoe. Did not reorder so as of now, no I cannot recommend them.

This shoe started falling apart within 6weeks of using them. Their garbage, stay away

Black rubber failed to stay glued. Worn about a dozen times with light use around town. Very disappointed. The wear is accelerating around the toes and soon holes. I love NorthFace shoes but these have failed in durability and quality.
