The shoes are great , good fit , comfortable and waterproof. All I needed .I have several Merell shoes some over ten years . Keep up the great work.

This is the second pair of merrells I've bought in 2 months. Because of there comfort, I've recommend then to my parents.

I own or have owned 12-15 pairs of Merrell shoes over the last 15 years and will continue to shop Merrell as a replacement is needed. However, this was the first time I have bought the Chameleon Stretch WATERPROOF. Most of the models I own are the Chameleon Stretch, which simply means they don't have to be tied, but rather they slip on and have a draw cord to tighten. With the waterproof version, the neoprene sleeve is tighter fitting and therefore my normal size 10 was not a comfortable fit. I have exchanged for a 10.5 and awaiting its arrival to see if that will work. Otherwise, Merrell shoes have been a fantastic work shoe for being on my feet for 12-14 hours a day in all kinds of terrain and conditions. I'll be a life long Merrell supporter.

This is the first pair of these that I have owned, at first they seemed a little stiff. The uppers are very comfortable but the soles felt a little harder than I expected for such lightweighing shoes. But after wearing them a few times during the first week I had them they softened up and feel great! They are light and very comfortable. These hiking shoes are excellent! They feel very natural on my feet on hard man-made surfaces as well as on hillsides of the Santa Monica Mountains.

Ok first off, I wanted to love this shoe right away, and i do know thanks to some of my own experiments, just hear me out I'm not being over critical at all I love Merrell shoes and boots, ok so I get these bad boys try them on and they fit a bit big I had the chameleon 7's and they fit amazing I did at least 300 miles in them and they were amazing, so the cham 8's first of all get them a half size smaller that would have helped me, so the first day i put 10 miles on them and yes dumb but of course they hurt my feet, no surprise there but the worst part was the SQUEAKY sound eminating from my BRAND new shoes, so when I got home first of all I switched out my new insoles with my older chameleon 7 insoles which were way broken in!! HUGE difference, still wasn't great and still were squeaky, so me ordering the shoe too big I absolutely had to douse the inside with baby powder,.also ended up putting both insoles on top of one another old first new second, anywho I doused liberally!! With baby powder wore them around still squeek, so today I went on an 8 mile hike with them in a downpour, crossed a flooded creek walked a good 4 miles with them full of water now guess what? No more squeaky shoes. So I love these shoes now but it took work.

It is amazing shoe, I mean this thing is very adaptive just like chameleon it self have use this shoe for biking, hiking walking even play soccer with it give me so much control with the ball amazing!!! My down side in any shoe is that I have small feet can't find my size in men's department or site.

Fits great, easy slip on and slip off. I have a wide foot and this model was my first hiking shoe 20 years ago. Wear them for hiking and when going for walks- including traveling through airports. Love the waterproof models. Wish they came in more models.

After looking to replace my last pair of Chameleons I finally decided to buy these again. I love the slip on functionality, sturdy build, and overall durability. My last pair lasted more than 5 years!

I wanted a shoe to use for my lawn service that was both comfortable and waterproof. I've long been a fan of Merrell for their comfort and quality. So far I have not been disappointed. I've been wearing the shoe 6-8 hours a day for the past week and have had not issues. Feet do not hurt and it has excellent traction for hills/slopes.

I've been waiting for another solid waterproof Chameleon Stretch shoe, and the WP Chameleon Stretch 8 is it! I replaced my waterproof Chameleon Prime Stretch shoes (now quite worn) with these. No break-in period required--they just start out comfortable and stay that way. These are definitely, my favorite and most versatile shoes. The black version is awesome.

I needed a waterproof shoe for morning do walks and didn't want a bulky boot. I like the fit of there and they're good for keeping my socks dry.

Too narrow so returned

These are one of the most comfortable shoes I've even owned. Considering another pair in a different color:)

This is my 4th pair from this particular line of shoe. It is a fantastic product. It feels really comfortable, and it is light weight. I can walk around in these all day long without my feet feeling tired. What more can I say...it is just an awesome shoe!

Very nice shoes, comfort and fit are spot on. I have always been happy with the chameleon stretch shoes. They feel like rugged waterproof slippers with treads.

The upper of the 8 looks exactly like the older 2, which I liked.

I've been a Nike guy my whole life . I bought my first pair of Merrell's two years ago looking for a more durable shoe for work . I tried them on at the store and knew instantly that these were going to be comfortable. I didn't know that they would turn into my favorite shoes ! I just got my third pair ! You guys rock ! Keep making great products and you've got a customer for life !

I like this shoe! It is very similar to an older Chameleon Stretch my sister gave me for Xmas 5 yrs. ago - same look, feel, waterproof, bungee laces, etc. Those 5 yr.old shoes are still just fine, though I am replacing a 6 yr. old non-waterproof pair of similar Chameleon Stretches, with these new ones, as the cushioning is not what it used to be. Six years is pretty good, though!

worth the money

My 4th pair ... I love the idea of a robust shoe that is a slip on ... no shoe strings ... I'm ready in a couple of seconds to run outdoors

I really like the chameleon 8 why don't they come in a wide size
