I have been wearing hurricanes for many years, unfortunately the more recent versions have felt hard, flat, and less "bouncy" and this version is no different. I'm on my feet a lot for work on a hard surface and have flat painful feet. Still searching for my perfect shoe until they go back to making these like they used to. My favorite was Hurricane ISO 2 - arch support and bounce! On a good note, I think the look of the shoe is great!

I’ve only worn these shoes a few times and I’m still not sure about them. I have bunions and the toe box feels tight even though I bought the wide width. Otherwise the shoes are comfortable. I have difficulty finding sneakers that don’t cause blisters somewhere on my feet. Not sure these will work for all day wear or longer walks.

I like the style, and these basically fit well, but as happens with lots of shoes I try out, the heels were too loose and slipped up and down as I walked. Also, for some reason, the left one seemed to pitch my step toward the outside of my foot, so it felt a bit unstable and would've eventually caused an injury.

I’m a walker and I have been wearing the Hurricane for 0-15 years. Shoe provides the stability and comfort that I need/like. Great cushion.

I bought these shoes for running and love them. I went half a size up from my regular size, as I do with all my running shoes. I had a stress fracture in my foot a few years ago from running, so I’m super cautious about which shoes I wear and track my miles to replace shoes. The toe box has good room for no problems, they crease in the right place so I can run and run. I wear pink super feet inserts in all my running shoes, these are no different. The heal seems to have a little extra cushion/bounce. I was worried about the smooth materials on the heel, but I have no problems with slipping, my foot is secure. The laces are smooth and round and stay tied without any fussing, so important on a run.

Love the pink soles!! The Hurricane is a heavier shoe, lots of cushioning, and great stability. The toe box is narrower and the heel is wider than I would expect from Saucony, but I was able to lace using the extra holes to stop my heel from slipping. It felt warm and not very breathable - not great for my sweaty feet. I’m sending them back and keeping the Liberty ISO 2.

Whenever I buy new running shoes it’s stressful. What if I wear them and I don’t like them. I never have had a moment of regret with any Saucony shoe !!!!

Shoe was very comfortable for walking with orthopedic inserts. Very pricey.

I’ve used Hurricane’s for at least 5 years. They were perfect for my feet and the way I run. Sadly, this version just doesn’t work for me. The fit is still good, but they’ve expanded the outer dimensions, which are now too big and kludgy for how I run. Now I have this rather expensive pair of shows at home that I will hardly use. Instead of Saucony, I went out and bought some Brookes. I miss the old Hurricanes!

I am so sad about the demise of the previously great Hurricane. These are more like non-slip socks. The body of the shoe is soft and flimsy, with zero support or stabilization. Within a week I developed knee and hip pain that is still with me many weeks after discontinuing use.

I have been using the Hurricane-model sneaker for a long time after a recommendation from a podiatrist for plantar fasciitis. I won't use anything else for running. Love the improved materials of the Hurricane 22. The earlier models would sometimes be difficult to keep tightly laced or the lacing would fail. This new model is made of far superior quality materials. Will keep using Hurricane - so keep making it!!!

Shoe is light, provides good cushion and roomy toe space. Wish this shoe wasn't discontinued I would continue to purchase this style.

I have trouble with the balls of my feet. If I wear these no trouble. I am 76 and have walked 4 miles twice in them now and hope many more miles to come.

It would be nice have more exciting colors! Otherwise, they are the only stability shoe I have worn for years and years!

I wasn't sure which size to buy, so I tried 9.5 regular width and 9 wide width. Both fit fine, so I kept both! The width is fine in both and the toe box gives my toes some wiggle room. The shoe is supportive, a bit cushy, and lightweight.

I have developed some foot issues, and I needed a stability shoe with as much cushioning and toe box room as possible. This Hurricane 22 wide perfectly fits the bill. My feet don't hurt at all most of the time, and if they do, it's only minimal to what used to happen. I love this shoe! Thanks, Saucony.

I absolutely love these shoes! They are supportive and deep enough to accommodate an orthotic (once you remove the factory insert). I also like the material around the forefoot, it's stretchy enough to accommodate my bunions and allow the toes to move. I did go up 1/2 size, which I've had to do with my last few pairs of Saucony shoes. If I didn't need to put an orthotic in the 8 would probably be fine, but the 8.5 is more comfortable in allowing more room for my toes. The color is gorgeous (I'm a purple person)!!

Finally found a fun shoe that is comfortable and fits my custom orthotics! Comfortable immediately. If I wasn’t nervous about NOT wearing my orthotics, I’d probably wear them as is. I don’t believe they would aggravate my plantar fasciitis. Time will tell how durable these are. Love the purple color! I’m a true 9 and these fit like a glove with plenty of room in the toe area for me (and I have fairly wide feet). Home run with these!
