I’m so bummed because I want these shows to work. They are cute and they feel good as far as the arch support etc - the only problem is the top that goes accross the top of my foot is so tight and hurt immediately putting them on. Not sure if the wider one would work because I am always a medium width in regular shoes and it just feels like these are cut weird

My overall rating of 3 stars is not because if the actual shoe. These shoes are nice and what I expect from Birkenstock. I am upset that Zappos picture showed a silver buckle and when I received the shoes, it was a gold buckle. There was no help from customer service. Just an excuse that this sometimes happens as a manufacturer will change a style but Zappos uses the old picture. False advertising is not to be rewarded. The shoes are good otherwise, but I wouldn't order from Zappos and trust you will get the correct product.

Zappos failure for this shoe. This is my 3rd time trying to order it. First time, someone purchased it seconds before me, leading to checkout error. Second time, after two weeks of awaiting its arrival, I called Customer Service and they cancelled my order telling me they couldn't find the shoe & it was lost in the warehouse. This time, finally back in stock, ordered a Narrow & Zappos sent me a Regular which is equivalent to a Wide. Forewarning: Either this size or this shoe is cursed in the warehouse and doesn't truly want to leave, thinking Zappos is its forever home. -- Otherwise, Footbed felt like it would be wonderful if it fit correctly. My foot swam in these shoes. It was also a bit long. If you have a "Regular" foot must order "Narrow." If you have a Narrow foot, might have to forego Birkenstocks.

This new style is at least a size smaller than my other styles. I have worn a 36 for many years. Have had several different styles. I ordered a 37 because of the style and it’s too small.

the buckle arrived broken on one shoe, trying to order a replacement since stitching it to the elastic shouldn't be a big deal

I know you're supposed to break in Birkenstocks, but the arch in these was in a weird place for my foot. Wearing the shoes for a short period of time resulted in a lot of pain in the bottom of my feet. Other reviews talk about how comfortable these are, so the problem must be my weird feet. Also, the leather is not very high quality for the price. I LOVE the style and wish I didn't have to send them back.

I love Birkenstock sandals so I really wanted to love these, but I just can’t. The shoe hits at the wrong spot where my toes bend. And the shoes look too matronly on my feet. I think somebody younger with edgy style could look great in these. They just didn’t work for me.

I have wore Birkenstock shoes for years. And their sandals I wear a 39 European size. In their clothes to shoes I wear 40. I purchased these in a size 40 I could barely get my foot in the shoe. It was extremely narrow and extremely short, very disappointed. Returning

Oof- I like a funky granny shoe, but there was nothing cute about these. Not comfy enough to justify the lack of style.

It was just too narrow for me, and I don't even have a wide foot. The toe box is just to small and it scraped against the inner part of the front of my foot.

Very stiff, the heel is rough and would cause blisters immediately. Cute but no dice.

I have many pairs of Birkenstock sandals in both the regular and narrow width all in size 41. These felt narrow. The arch rubbed the inside of my arch and my toes were touching the end even though I ordered them up a size in a 42. I thought the leather was very soft and I liked the actual look of the shoe.

The front edge cut right over my bunion. I knew I’d never be able to wear them when I tried them on. Too bad bc they are cute. If only that front edge came a bit higher on the instep instead of lower across the big toe.

This style is not the standard Birkenstock fit. The “standard” width is actually a narrow. After returning my normal size, I ordered 2 sizes bigger and it was Still too small, too toe box too narrow. Very disappointed. The shoe is so stylish, I would love to have it fit!
