I walked around on my living room rug briefly just to try them out, and I knew right away I was keeping them. Original birkenstock footbed (but you can't tell). These are extremely cute, comfortable, stylish, and kinda discrete. They honestly do not look like orthopedic shoes! I suffer from psoriatic arthritis, and cannot wear a ballerina flat for things like school presentations, interviews, etc. If i wear a heel, it must be a block heel on plateform. Adorable shoe, don't hesitate! There was a reason they were sold out!

Wow! I pulled these out of the box thinking, oh they won't work just like the last eight pair. (Thank-you Zappos) They are the most perfect shoe for my many foot ailments, it is unreal! Please, dont stop making these. My husband said get another pair, and he is right. I wear an 8W and the 8 regular fit perfect with a little wiggle room. The strap at the angle is so comfortable. The footbed is firm and very supportive. The upper leather is dreamy soft for bunions and spurs. They have just the right amount of flex without irratating toes that do not bend. Above all that, they are cute and feminine!!! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you!

I was very nervous about buying these as my Birk sandals tend to make my feet tired. I'm a solid size 8 US or 38 EU in most shoes. I have to admit, I was very pleasantly surprised with the flexible, ergonomic footbed and just how comfortable the soft leather upper was. There was no break-in period whatsoever. Full disclosure, I have a gimpy hip, ridiculously flat feet, and prolonged walking or standing can be excruciating. So, I'm like Goldilocks when it comes to shoes. This one is too tight, that one is too heavy, this one is trying to support arches I don't have and now I have blisters, etc, etc. These shoes fit me just right and I love them! <3 Plus, I'm a sucker for all things mary jane style. I love that Birkenstock is venturing into making proper casual shoes. I will definitely be on the lookout for more styles and I highly recommend these shoes. I would definitely buy them again.

I normally wear a size 7 shoe in US sizes. With Birkenstock sandals, I wear a 37 (6 to 6.5) so that's what I ordered in this style. They just fit, but looked a little stunted like they were too short so I probably would have returned them for a larger size. They seemed comfortable. They are not, however, cute as many reviewers claim. They are very dorky, and not in a dorky but cool kind of way. Definitely only for those who value comfort over style. Even then, there has to be something better.

I have several other Birkenstocks and got these in my normal 40 narrow size. They fit my foot well but then are narrower than many Birkenstock in the same size and width. They have a slim profile which I love and it makes them dressier. The leather (black leather) is actually nice and soft and there is a light elastic under the buckle that makes walking in them comfortable. In other words the strap does not dig into the top of your foot because it gives a little bit. My only disappointment was that I ordered the black with the silver buckle but they sent the gold buckle. I’m going to keep them because I don’t feel like exchanging them but wish they were silver.

I wear a size 10 and the size 41 is true to size. They are very comfortable with the softer footbed and the adjustable strap helps you get a good fit.

Metatarsalgia has my foot aching even after a few steps. A firm footbed, supportive but not too high arch, and a substantial transverse arch help to alleviate the pain. Mephisto Helen work great, but a sandal isn’t such a good look year round, or with less casual clothing. Birkenstock clogs make me look like a Smurf, so I thought I’d take a chance on the Tracy. It was perfect for my feet straight out of the box. The narrow fits my low-volume feet, with enough toe box width and depth to prevent crowding. It’s got the real Birki footbed, though covered on the outside so it appears as trim as a ballet flat/Mary Jane. It pairs great with wider legged pants, skirts, etc. I liked it so much I bought it in black and in taupe. Give it a try if you need a trim but supportive shoe and like a firm insole.

Birkenstock’s run wide so I ordered the narrow even though my feet aren’t narrow at all and they fit perfectly! Look super cute and not too clunky.

I wear 38 in Berks sandals, but this is the second pair of closed shoes I've purchase at 38 - both were a half size too small. I've reordered one at 39 just to be sure. Otherwise, looked great and the insole felt great.

Amazing comfort right out of the box. I have a fairly wide foot. They fit well. SO cute on! I think I'm going to buy it in black as well.

I am always on the lookout for dressier shoes I can wear to work that are also comfortable--specifically ones that give my toes room to splay when I step/have a wider toe box without the whole shoe being too wide. These definitely fit the bill, providing the comfort of the Birkenstock footbed you know from the sandal but in a closed-toe mary jane style that you can wear when sandals may not be appropriate. I did have a little issue with the back of the shoe rubbing against my the back of my ankle, but my left foot is a bit smaller than my right, so this is a common problem for me. I put in a little heel cushion at the back of the shoe, and this seems to have fixed the problem. This shoe is also extremely lightweight while still providing support, which I think is true across the Birkenstock brand. I have pretty low arches and this shoe provided plenty of arch support for me without it being too much. I wish this shoe came in a material other than suede, as I'm a little concerned about the durability in the long-run, but overall I'm really happy with this shoe so far.

This is my third pair of these shoes and I’m excited to get them in smooth leather than nubuck. I wore them on a three week trip to Europe and they were comfortable the whole time. I like that they can be dressed up or down. Great arch support and they don’t rub under my ankle as many shoes do. I hope Birkenstock offers more closed shoes in the future.

I absolutely love these! I often have callouses on my feet, likely from improper footwear and need to use callous removal systems every week. However, since using Birkenstock’s, I no longer have callouses on my feet! These are super comfortable and I can walk in them all day long without any issues. The arch support is excellent. My feet feel so so SO good in these. Even better than my usual walking/athletic shoes. The design of this pair allows for easy walking without having toes grip onto the shoes. It’s almost like walking barefoot, but with excellent support. I cannot say enough how much I love Birkenstocks. I am going to order another pair and toss other shoes to make room for more Birkies.

I finally found the perfect Mary Jane. Not to fancy, not to plain…just right to wear with jeans and skirts. I was worried that the narrow width would be a problem but it’s not. I don’t have a wide foot yet other mentioned watch support placement in the shoe. For me it’s perfect

As a hard-to-fit classic "duckfoot", the fit is very true to size for me. I have a wider foot, (but not quite measuring wide), and a narrower heel. The regular width is just right. No toe pinching. No heel slippage. A bit too much arch support, since my feet are completely flat, but I don't believe it will be a problem, especially as the shoes conform to my feet. The price point is quite high for me but I am trying to invest in quality footwear that will last me a few years.

As a Flight Attendant with plantar fasciitis these are so comfortable!! I’ve spent plenty of money on flats to wear a the Aircraft but my feet always hurt. These have amazing arch support. I now can go for a walk after a day of flying.

Fit was perfect for me in the narrow width. True to Birkenstock, the material feels fabulous against just your bare feet. Comfort right out of the box--love these!

Lightweight. Removable insole. Will sustain light forays into rain. But beware sizing is smaller than usual Birkenstocks. I should have upsized by one. Also be careful if you’re looking for the less narrow sizing choose carefully. But they are still comfortable Birkenstocks and slightly more feminine styling that will work a bit better w dresses/skirts.

I love Birks and was hoping that these would be an answer to comfortable shoes to wear with a dress. Unfortunately the top cut across my big toe joint, where I have bone spurs. These are also narrow (as advertised) which pressed on my sore toe joint.

I have WW size feet and Birkenstock sandals fit fine in the regular width. But in the shoes they are way too narrow for my foot. Other than that they are cute. However the footbed feels very hard compared to the sandals.

I love the arch support in these cute shoes that were super comfortable right out of the box. I wanted something with a little more support to replace some ballet flats because I am on my feet for most of my work day. These are perfect!

Love this style and I love Birkenstock. Wear these so much.

Need closed toe shoes for work and love Birkenstock sandals so I tried these. I wear a 9 and the 39 regular in these fit well. I wish the toe box was as wide as their other shoes but I like the more narrow silhouette and they’re still comfortable overall. The leather is nice and soft so I’m sure they’ll stretch out some. Same Birk footbed without the tie bar which is great for me.

These shoes fit well with custom orthotics. Foot pain totally resolved after a day of trading my regular work flats for these. Worth every penny.
