I love this shoe. I was looking something to bounce through the woods and hike the urban. The grippy sole planted me on steep rocks and supported while hiking through backcountry. Comfortable and supportive. Love them!!!

I have had merrell boots for years and was always impressed. I got a new job where I work in a rocky forest and ware these daily and couldn't be happier! They are light enough that you can run in them but the provide great traction and have been holding up great! I've only owned them for 6months but no noticeable wear yet.

its a rugged style of royalty with built in sensibility of comfort for the street or trail. the durable base helps to walk those urban spots or kick rocks along the nature trail.

They are lighter than a normal hiking boot. I use them in a welding shop, light and comfortable, great for work.

Very nice and comfortable pair of shoes overall. They fit well and appear to be durable (even though I have just used them less than a month).

In the two weeks since I've had these shoes, I really dig 'em. They fit great and the tread is perfect for walking urban and trail landscapes.

I've been waiting for months to buy a pair of these and I'm still waiting. Any idea when size 11 in blue will be available again?

These are so comfortable I bought these for a upcoming trip to Arizona for some lite hiking and a lot of walking. I have been wearing since I got them don't want to take them off now.

I wanted something other than my standard blue so I chose the gold and love it. These shoes are comfortable, cool looking and I feel I could walk for miles and miles right out of the box. I just might get the blue.

I hiked 8 miles on rough trail in Compton, Arkansas the week I got these. Comfort level is excellent, great for scrambling up rocks, and fairly water resistant! Great city roaming shoes as well. Great job Merrell!

Nice looking shoe, well made. Toe box is tighter than my Moabs so not great for me for long walks / hikes but good for everyday use.

I like the looks and color of these shoes, but the comfort warrants a minus one star. At least how the felt on my feet. After walking in them for a day my feet felt squeezed on the sides and blistered at the heels. And I bought the same size I had all my Merrells in.

Love the design and colour of the shoe but wish that it had a bit more cushioning in the heel area.

I've been wearing these daily for almost a year. They're great walking shoes with excellent support and stability. Merrell shoes fit me the best of any, and these shoes are no different, so very comfortable. My only complaint is the heel slips a bit as others have commented and now the fabric inside the heel has worn through. Nothing a little duct tape can't handle, but it would be nice if the inside heel fabric was stronger.

Great for city use. Flat sole good for walking in town, and get for within the office. While the grip looks good for trails, I will keep these for my city 'hikes'!

Runs a bit small.

These shoes are comfy and cool. I've taken several walks in them and they had great support.

I love these shoes. They're good looking, but obviously well made and will last a long time through rugged wear. I actually use them primarily as a kind of weight lifting shoes; the sole from the heal to the ball of the foot is very flat, and gives you a strong base while working out at the gym. They do run a little long and wide for my foot, but since they don't do half sizes I think the size down would be too small. That's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars rather than 5. If they did half sizes, especially when you get into the 11, 12, and 13 sizes, I would give it 5 starts without a doubt.

These are far more comfortable than I would have thought. They fit well and are a perfect mix between a scrambling shoe and a casual every day shoe. If there was a single point of criticism I have, it's the lacing at the mid-foot. The typical rivets give way to two sets of very thin cordage which do not grip the lace very well making it difficult to tighten the mid-foot. I don't feel as though it is a major downfall as it still feels comfortable and wears well. They look pretty darn good too.

The boots are comfortable. My main issue is that the laces are at least a foot too long and there are too many lace crossings that have to be pulled tight individually in order to get a tight fit. I don't have especially narrow feet, but I end up having to double knot the laces to keep them from dragging on the ground.
