Light, breathable and responsive. Roomy forefoot. They are my go to daily runners.

I love these shoes. They are light and very comfortable. The bright colors appeal a bit to my wild side!

Merrell shoes always fit with little breaking in. Walk 4 miles a day, 5 days a week. Switch out every 6 months from casual to walking. Also have a 3rd pair for tennis & pickleball. Have always used this rotation for 10 years. Great product!

I took my Merrells to Europe, where I live and work. I've pounded the cobblestoned pavement while touring several cities, not to mention trail walks and workouts at home. These Merrells are tough, yet lightweight; water repellent, yet ventilated. Good thing they look spiffy, too they're my all-in-ones!

I have run in trail shoes from Altra, Salomon, Asics, Saucony, and Topo. I think this is by far my favourite. It is light and nimble with the right balance of feel and protection. The only Merrell shoe that has impressed me more was the "Bare Access 3" (bring it back!). I have a wide foot and was worried that it might pinch or bind. It was perfect. Snug and secure.

Excellent grip while trail running. Cushioned very well over small rocks and puddles. Buy a pair, you wont be sorry.

Excellent traction and lockdown on the foot. Has a precise fit that is comfortable and welcome in technical terrain. Shoe is light and feels snappy and responsive even as the terrain mellows out. Really happy with this as a trail race shoe but would be comfortable for big days in the mountains. Went true to size and fit was great (for reference, I usually go half size down in Merrell shoes, like the Agility Synthesis).

Great fit right out of the box. I use them at the gym, for walking and trail running and for all round use. They are nice and light but still feel supportive and protective. I miss the pull tab on the heel like my other seven pairs of Merrells have, but that is small in the big picture.

Light, I do a lot of walking in suburban terrain therefore the weight of the shoe (very light) helps me get the full benefit of the walk w/o the heavier walking shoe. I have enough weight to carry with my cameras on photo shoots and I don't need heavy shoes.

Love Merrell and love this style and these colours. Can't wait for the spring and summer to do some hiking. This is my 3rd or 4th pair in the same style but different colours.

It's hard to find a running shoe to meet my needs with regard to comfort and performance. This is my first Merrell running shoe and I am extremely satisfied. It outperforms any other running shoe I have had over the years and is extremely comfortable for long runs and walks.

I took my Merrell MTL Skyfire shoes on a very muddy, hilly, root-covered and rocky 5-mile trail run for my first trial. I wanted to see how they held up under these challenging conditions, as these conditions are pretty typical of the trail runs I do. I was pleasantly surprised with the shoes' performance. I slipped slightly only once or twice, and that, in itself, was amazing given the conditions. The shoes were very comfortable, and my feet stayed mostly dry, except for when I crossed a small stream and my foot became completely submerged! That wasn't the shoes' fault, it was mine. Another thing I loved about the shoes was that they cleaned up very easily and quickly and also dried relatively quickly (in front of our dehumidifier). The only thing about the shoes I did not like is that the toe box is much more narrow than my Merrell zero-drop running flats. I like a toe box with plenty of room, nothing that crowds my toes like most shoes do..

These are wonderful trail running shoes. They are lightweight and grip the trail. I used to run in high-top shoes to support my ankles, but these are so sure-footed that I run in them now. One warning -- if you do run in them, you'll want to replace the laces. The original laces untie almost immediately after you start running.

What I like most about these shoes, I believe, are they aggressive treads on the sole. It will be interested to see how long they last and hold up to rigorous punishment

These are stable and fairly light. The inner is comfortable. I really like the waterproofing. I like the 6mm difference between heel and toe. The tread is slightly painful on pavement, if you're on it for a long time, but it's not meant for pavement. I've taken these up a 700ft elevation-change mountain course already (a 5km add-on in the middle of a 25km workout), and they performed great. Quite happy with my purchase.
