I have owned many Skechers shoes and love them all so decided to try their boots. This particular style is too high for my ankles and also a bit too large even with heavy socks. Luckily, they fit my sister perfectly and she needed a new pair for winter so she gets and early Christmas present :)

Very happy with the look of these

Loved the shoes just felt like the right side was a half size smaller it needed breaking in for sure, left side felt perfect. It was just probably a bad batch?? i would buy again especially if they have more solid colors! I need white as well.I also like this style since you don't see your toes like with the knitty city style? These are breathable so water also gets inside if you step in water or walking thru wet grass.

So far, so happy with these boots! They are true-to-size, with hiking socks. I broke them in on a moderate 2-mile hike around my family's farm. The trails are hilly in some areas, so I was able to test the way it felt to walk up/downhill. The first thing I noticed was the ankle support. An old ankle injury keeps me cautious when hiking, and these boots feel nice and snug. Sometimes shoes that claim they have ankle support don't feel like they come up high enough but that isn't the case with these. I could have even tied the laces even tighter for more support if I were in rockier/steeper terrain. I don't think I'll have to worry about rolling my ankle in these, which is terrific. The insoles feel GREAT. I have another pair of Sketchers (dress flats) and they have the same comfy "Air-Cooled Memory Foam" and they're pretty much all I wear in the office. Like those, these boots have a good amount of cushion while still providing support. The memory foam hugs your foot and toes in all the right places. I'm excited that these are waterproof so I don't have to worry about getting water-logged boots on a longer hike in the mountains. After my hike, I can safely say I feel they'll hold up nicely on longer hikes in more rugged terrain. I can not vouch for the waterproof feature this early on, but they seem to be made incredibly well. The soles are very thick (though not too heavy) and the tops are sewn in a way that water can't trickle in through the tongue/lace area. After taking them off, I didn't feel like I had been wearing ankle weights as it sometimes feels when you take off big clunky shoes or boots (another thing to look out for when you have ankle/foot injuries). My feet were dry, despite the 95+ temps and high humidity, so I would say these are pretty breathable. They are lightweight but sturdy and don't look or feel humongous (an issue I've had with other brands of waterproof hiking boots in the past). Would definitely recommend!

I love the look and feel of these boots. Exactly what I wanted. BUT size is s good half size too large. I always wear wide width but these are really wide. Next time will order regular width. I would have exchanged these for smaller size, but for whatever reason I disposed of shipping boxes..

I use for walking

I love these new hiking boots. I just needed to wear thicker taller socks. I wore the thin short socks and got blisters on both ankles. Otherwise they are great! Comfortable! Not too heavy.

These shoes are for climbing and I have not had a chance yet to try them out, but they seem comfortable when I tried them on. Ordered them in a half size larger so I can wear socks with them.

I haven't been able to use them hiking yet because all the trails in my area are closed due to COVID. I wore them to work where I stand for 9+ hours on concrete and they're very sturdy. Supported my ankles a lot. My feet did kind of hurt at the end of the day but I'm not going to fault the shoes for that quite yet, as my working conditions aren't great. I have small but wide feet so boots are also a hit or miss to buy and sometimes have to go multiple sizes up for them to fit. But these were great! Will update once I hike in them!

I bought them for hiking

It's different shopping for shoes online in these difficult times , because different styles fit me different and also in different sizes. It can range from 7.5 to 8 depending on the shoe and style but I was able to exchange them for a lighter more comfortable shoe and I'm very happy. I've always worn sketchers and even in the difficult times I'm happy I was able to exchange these.. the shoes I did the on but saw the for was to loose and big on my foot even though they were very trendy and nice I ended up going with a different pair of sketchers that are lighter and not so heavy..

My main issue is width. Why are wide widths so limited? There are so many cute shoes that I can't get because they don't come in wide. I always end up with another of the few styles that are wide. I'm currently interested in the Selman, but no wide sizes. Very disappointing!

I use these on my Dairy goat farm. I am on my feet all day. They are comfortable, but a little heavy for all-day use.

I got a 10 wide which is my usual and they fit me absolutely perfectly! The laces are circular not flat so they don't stay tied super well but you can always change those out. And the tops of them are a bit stiff around the ankles but I've read they can be broken in and they're so much better with fluffy socks on. Otherwise they're really comfortable and super cute for a hiking boot!

These are wonderful boots for hiking. I have had several pairs of hiking boots over the years and these rank right up there with the best. They are sturdy and give a lot of support in the ankle area. The soles are great, they grip great on rocks and up & down hills (I live in a high desert area). And the cushioning inside is wonderful. I have had a lot of foot problems and these boots make long hikes doable again. The only thing that could be improved on would be the cushioning in the ankle area. Other than that these are perfect....thanks Skechers!

My job requires me to hike on trails and these boots are comfortable and water resistant. I have only had them a few weeks, but they seem to be made of good quality materials. I gave the boots four stars instead of five because I'm waiting to see how well they wear with use.

I wear these boots when walking the dog on trails in the winter or when going out casually on a cold winter night.

These seem like good hikers, but they were a little stiff at first. I'm hoping they'll soften up a bit as I use them.

I wear them to work, since my feet are always cold there. I took them to a boot shop and had the eyes on the laces replaced with hooks. They are much easier to put on now.

Boots for winter months

Shoes are comfortable once worn in but they are not waterproof. Bought the shoes in June when the ground is dry & everything was fine. Now we're in September, the grass in the morning's is wet and after an hour or so dog walk across some grass/field areas, my socks & feet are wet, from my toes down half my foot. Wouldn't recommend if you need waterproof but OK for walking when it's dry.

This is my 2nd hiking shoes and my first ever low rated Sketchers shoes. I wanted this style so it could protect my ankles when hiking but it's just too narrow and needed to break in. Hope by the 4th time I used it, it will be better.

I bought these because of the relaxed fit to wear as boots for work, especially with winter coming on and these being waterproof. Too narrow at the toes and too hard, not enough padded insole.
