These are fantastic!!!! Comfy, cute and look like they will hold up to the outdoors!

We love these and own a pair for each of our two kids (4 and 5). They've worn them on hikes over all kinds of terrain and they've performed very well. The kids love them and are always excited to put on their hiking shoes. They're easy to clean when we get home and have held up well to loads of abuse. If your kids typically wear shoes from brands like See Kai Run or others with wide beds and open toes these will likely feel a little tight because they're built like a 'normal' shoe. It's not bad it was just slightly unexpected and took a little explaining to our youngest kid.

My daughter wore these hiking in Zion and said they were comfortable. She wore in the water too with quick drying time.

My little dude wore these for a 20km backpacking trip which included a boulder field and scramble and these shoes did not disappoint. There wasn't much of a break in period, the grip is very reliable and they are truly built like an adult shoe. Highly recommend!

I got this shoes for my boys since they joined the Cub Scouts last year, and they didn't have hiking shoes, so I decide it to try on this ones, and they are perfect, my boys said they are confortable and this are water proof, it rained the day before we went to the cub scouts hiking, my boys loved them

This is my absolute favorite Merrell shoe. I can fit a girls size and so I bought them! This is my 4th pair of the Altalight. I love this shoe!

Granddaughter loves them. Like that they have the elastic adjustable laces.

These shoes are very comfortable but do run small. I have the mocs in the same size and wear thick socks and shoes are roomy. With these I must wear very thin socks and they are still snug.

Purchased the first pair of these year ago for my son. He is tough on shoes and these have held up to his demands beyond my expectations!

I bought these shoes for my 5 year old son who is notorious for toe dragging and causing holes to form very quickly. It's been about a month so far and there are no holes! I am pleased

My son loves his merrell altalights. We recently camped and took some moderate hiking trips (with a full cast on his arm) and these shoes held traction even on slippery surfaces. His feet stink up a lot of shoes, but not these! So far, so good.

Fit true to size, good quality, fair price. The waterproofing works very well. My son loves them.

So far the shoes are holding up nice for my 6 year old boy. Great design. Trail ready but not heavy like a boot.

My 6 and 10-year old kids wore these brand new on a 7.4 mile hike in Grand Teton National Park with no complaints. They are grippy and seem to be reinforced in just the right spots. Only downside is they both have trouble keeping the laces tied so we end up double knotting them.

Kids loved the shoes. Would purchase again. Wish they continued this in adult sizes/styling!

My boys think these shoes are super comfortable, plus they hold up really well (meaning these rough and tumble little guys usually grow out of them way before they break down, like, at all). Win-win. Also, they're really cute. So win-win-win?

My son loves these shoes. He specifically wanted them for the grip technology that he thought would allow him to grip the ninja warped wall better. It worked! They're very grippy and sharp looking shoes.
