I’ve been waiting for Merrell to bring back the MJs! I typically wear a 7 in Merrell shoes and 7.5 in boots. Even the 7 in this was a half size too large. Waiting for a 6.5 to arrive. Feels similar to the older, mesh Mary Jane style, which is excellent! I wish companies would go back to their popular designs and comfort, so I hope Merrell is doing just that.

OMG I have been waiting several years for Merrell to bring back this shoe. I know, stupid to get so excited about a shoe that isn't gonna win any fashion contests BUT I can 1. do a light workout in it 2. walk the dog a mile or two 3. water the outside plants and do some gardening 4. come inside and do housework and cooking in them 5. pick up the grandkids, go to the park, and run in circles IN THIS PAIR OF SHOES. And then, when needed, throw 'em in the wash. Need a perfect Do-Everything shoe? Buy it.

Cute, comfortable shoe. I ordered the recommended size 9 but it was too big. So I returned it for size 8 1/2. The fit was fine, but after wearing the shoes for awhile, I realized that they did not have enough support for my overpronation. Sadly, I am returning them. I will continue to shop Zappos for an attractive, supportive shoe that I can wear when I dress up a bit.

I was very disappointed with the Merrell Waterpro Pandi 2. There was no arch support in these shoes and the soles were thin. Really surprised by the quality of Merrell's shoes.

These shoes are one of the best purchases I've made! I'm back to buy another pair in the same Brindle color because I don't want to be without them. I bought them last summer so that I could walk trails AND streams with my active, 13-year old pup. They have been my main shoe for anything casual because they are so comfortable and they go with most of my casual attire. They are still going strong after a year+ of nearly daily wear!!! No holes. Smell great even after use on the Maine coast. (with a good rinse with the hose :-) Thanks, Merrell for giving me and my dog the gift of a LOT of quality time together and happy feet to boot.

I bought these as warm-weather walking shoes, and I just tested them out with a brisk 30-minute walk around the neighborhood. I'm happy -- they will serve my purpose very well, except that the underside of the strap is rough and rubs. I've stuck moleskin on it, and I bet that will take care of it, since I'm not planning to use them in the water. For what they are, I think they look cute, and much less clunky than many other similar options. My best size is typically a 5 1/2 wide; I got these in 5 medium, and the fit is perfect.

I wear size 8 in Merrell boots and shoes, but size 8 in the Waterpro was way to big. Ordering smaller size.

Perfect water shoes for water aerobics. Easy to put on and take off.

These shoes are just what I needed for my work in a garden center. They are cool and well-ventilated, dry quickly when I splash them with the hose, and provide enough foot coverage and protection to pass muster with our dress code. Brindle is the perfect neutral, no-color color. The reasons for the 4 stars are: about ½ size too long and wide, not quite enough cushioning and arch support for an 8 hour day on concrete, slightly scratchy fabric and stitching. Not pretty but extremely functional for my job, and had several positive comments from co-workers.

Not the most comfortable shoes, but great protection for water walking on rocky areas. Excellent grip and thick soles for protection. The grip keeps my ankles from rolling and me from falling in the water. The thick sole has protected me from fishing hooks and glass. Best shoes ever for water activities. Just not as comfortable as tennis shoes.

They were beautifully designed. They just seemed very stylish and thoughtfully well-constructed. These seem like the shoes to get if you need to do serious walking or other exercise in the water. They seemed like they would be durable and like they would have a great grip on slippery walk. I am worried they won't have the arch support I need for my very flat feet--but few do. These were by far the best of the water shoes I tried. Time will tell how well they hold up.

I have bought at least 10 pairs of water shoes for walking the Sound and beaches around our home on Hilton Head Island and have returned most of them because they are too hard to get on and off or they have fallen apart. This pair is easy to get on and off and fits with support for my back, and has good arch support without feeling as if I have wide duck feet around my toes. Highly recommend. Not just a plastic sandal - it has great inner support. The manufacturer did not have my size but Zappos did!

Like others, I was so happy to see Merrell bring this shoe back. Two years ago I had to go to a wide in Moab so was wary of buying this shoe but I'm not disappointed. The toe is wide and roomy enough to accomodate my bunions. The arch support is moderate as compared to Moab which I think is the best. I've worn these all day as is but recently put an old Moab insole in the Pandi and found it wonderful. I don't plan on using it in water anyway. I do wear Bombas foot peds with this shoe. Most likely will buy another pair someday. I don't wear sandals any longer as I find the closed shoe more stable so this is my sandal substitute.

I already wrote a review but forgot the most important thing I love about this shoe. I love that I can replace the orthotic with my own which is quite a substantial one with firm arch support! This is why I can function in life at all! Thank you Merrell!!!

Comfy shoes for beach walks, boat rides, and yard work. I have a high arch and wide foot and these were very comfortable. The strap has plenty of length to fit comfortably over the top of my foot and gave added security for keeping the shoe in place on wet surfaces.

Like the other reviewers, I too had the old version of these shoes and am SO happy Merrell has brought this Mary Jane back. It’s super sporty and I wore them right out of the box all day. Plenty of room for my arch support/inserts also, usually I have to go up a 1/2 size for my inserts to fit but not in these. Love them!

True to size. Very comfortable for a water shoe - could wear out and about daily-not necessarily only in the water. I always have success with Merrell's footwear. I need a wider toe box and a narrower heel area. Merrell always seems to get it right. I had stress fractures (SF) on both feet from over-exuberance on the treadmill resulting in 2 years of intermittent cam boots as SF recur easily. So, I'm VERY careful as to my footwear.

The first pair I ordered in my regular size were too big. Returned and swapped for the smaller size and they are perfect! Lightweight, good width, Great soles for trails and worked great for a hike across streams. Very comfortable. Would recommend!

Comfortable right out of the box-great for water or land use. Sizing same as other Merrell shoes I own.

These shoes are right out of the box comfortable. I put them on and forgot they were on my feet! Cute summery shoe

These were actually for an elderly friend of mine. She loves them. They are roomy enough for her swollen feet and bunions. She also doesn't have to worry about tying them. As always, Zappos came through again.

I could not wear them. Although they were true to size, the seam joining the front and side of the shoe was too rough for barefoot wear. And, since these are water shoes, that just didn't work.

The shoes are too wide and have no arch support. The strap is scratchy against the skin.

Toes catch where mesh starts.

The mesh and stitching in front of the mesh was very uncomfortable.
