These boots, with the Vibram soles, have been the most comfortable hiking boots I've ever owned. I had a pair 4 years ago I'd bought for a hike across southwest Ireland, and loved them. Switched to another brand when those wore out, and was less than satisfied with those, so I'm back to the Merrill Moab. First hike out was in the rain on a muddy trail, and my feet stayed dry, and I stayed upright!

Bought these for my husband and he loves them, this is his second pair. He said they are comfortable and wear well.

First pair, and I love themthese are the first hiking shoes that I don't feel like taking off as soon as possible after I'm done with a hike. Great traction, and really like the durable Vibram soles.

Comfortable, supportive and no slips on rocks, ice and snow. Best hiking boot i've worn!

Broke the new pair on the hike at Stone Door State Park in 26 degree weather. Wow, perfect performance. Non-slippery soles gave additional confidence on the wet and rocky trail. My feet never got tired and the ankle support was superb.

Great fit - solid sturdy shoe. Heals feel immediately better.

No need for break in with these comfortable shoes!

I bought this about two months ago, but haven't worn it much. I'd felt a lump under the front of my right foot, and thought it was the shoe. It turned out to be a benign lump in my own foot! I think these shoes will be great for the occasional light hiking that I do.

Light weight, comfortable, sturdy boot. I have a narrow foot, size 13,t with high arch. These boots provide all the support I need without additional inserts. I also like the waterproof feature. Feet stay dry when quickly crossing a stream or walking in wet snow.

These are my everyday work shoes because of COMFORT! I wear them everywhere. Soon to purchase another pair! Thanks for a great shoe.

Working at a home improvement chain I rack up 20k to 25k steps per shift. The only footwear I found that can get me through that daily pounding are my Merrrel Moab 2s. They are extremely comfortable and supportive. I also use them whenever I go hiking or walking the dogs. Only caution is they are not waterproof, but they are water resistant yes.

Fit great, support my arch, went hiking at Mt. Lemon, had no pain issues, love them!

I have had an older version of Moab hiking boot before and wore them for many years. This Moab 2 boot is "true to fit" and comfortable right out of the box. I have been looking at purchasing one of the newer models.

I had Merrell boots a few years ago and liked them. However, they were a bit narrow. I ordered the wide width, and they are perfect. I usually order standard width on all shoes. The heel to toe movement is good. They are firm but not stiff. I am happy with the purchase.

These are incredibly comfortable and from the feel of them durable too!

Exactly as advertised and at a great price! Performed really well on the Red Rocks of Sedona and Navajo Reservation. I like the grip of the sole and the ankle support.

I bought my first pair in 2011 and they've had a full workout in my native Northern Michigan plus hunts in Wyoming, New Mexico and Newfoundland. I've been completely satisfied and didn't hesitate to purchase a second pair.

Good comfortable shoe. I wear them every day at work and usually walk 2-3 miles a day with them and holding up good so far. I have degenerative joint disease and both my knees are shot but these shoes keeps the pain to a minimum.

Wore them for a week to break in the shoe and to feel how I should lace up. After one week, My Merrill's were ready to climb the Great Smoky Mountains. These shoes have excellent grip without the slip with a high lace to support the ankle. Looking forward to breaking in my next pair.

We bought these for a trip to Salt Lake, Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon. They were the perfect mid-boot for us. Light weight with enough traction to handle to well groomed but still rough terrain. These quickly became by boyfriends favorite boot.

I love Merrell's shoes, especially the Moab series. We recently went hiking in the mountains of Virginia, and these Moab 2 Mid Waterproof boots were perfect for the journey. I am happy with this purchase as I am with all my Merrell purchases!
