I purchased this boot for my grandson. It's his first time wearing Merrell. He loves them and says they are very comfortable. He goes walking and hiking with us all the time now.

These boots felt good right out of the box, very little break-in. I've got about 30 everyday miles and 20 trail miles on them and they've settled down nicely. This weekend I hit a trail that had heavy storm damage, downed trees and flooding; the boots kept the water out and performed well.

I love the fit and feel on my feet.

The Moab 2's are a great all-around footwear. Very comfortable right out of the box. May need just a smidge working in around top, but otherwise feels like wear running shoes. Waterproofness is superb. Walked thru many puddles and creeks with complete dryness, as long as you don't go wading in them. Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

I love my Merrills! There was one tiny glitch in the shipment, that being that the insole liner was crimped and not installed correctly, but even I could figure out how to remedy that, although I thought for a few minutes I'd have to send them back. But it's all good now.

I already owned a pair just like what I ordered. Love these boots so much I decided to stock up. I walk 3 miles almost every day and used to suffer sore feet. Since running across these Merrell boots, the feet feel good again and this translates up to the hips. It seems like the arch support and cushioning are perfect for me. The traction is great on snow and wet gravel roads. My old boots are wearing so well I wonder if buying a backup pair was such a good idea. Oh well, peace of mind is a good thing.

When i tried them on ot was more comfortable and light then i was expecting them to be. Im extremely happy with this boot.

Bought these boots in 2016.First time ever buying Merrells.Absolutely love them.Lived up to their reputation.Have worn them basically 4 seasons with no issue.Mud,water,etc. no worry.They were getting a bit rough looking,so bought another pair,different style.Oddly enough,I wear my older ones more than the newer ones because of the comfort level....great boots...!

I don't think I have enough good things to say about this boot. It was comfortable from day one. The day I bought it, I took a 9 mile hike on one of the toughest trails in Georgia (Yonah, for those who are curious). Normally, a boot that hasn't been broken in gives me pretty bad blisters. This boot didn't. The socks I was wearing weren't great, so I was expecting a hot spot at the very least. That didn't happen. When I got off the trail, I felt as if I hadn't even been hiking. The comfort level of these boots is unparalleled. As far as the waterproofing is concerned, I haven't had any problems with it so far. I've had them since mid-October of 2017 and they are still perfectly waterproof. I've taken them through streams and rivers, and my feet stay perfectly dry. The vibram sole, though dirty, shows little sign of wearing down. Whenever they finally do, I fully intend on buying another pair, though maybe a half size smaller. I will say that the toe box is very roomy, so I would definitely recommend going to a store that sells them to try them on before you buy them.

I have been a big fan of Merrell footware for many years. I wear their shoes daily and their boots when I am going to be outside or on rougher surfaces. I had an older pair of Merrell boots and I wore them out. I didn't realize how worn they were until I bought the Moad 2 Mid Waterproof. I can't highly enough about these boots. They are extemely comfortable and I feel that they will also last a long time.

My 3rd pair of Merrills and loving them... they are stylish, comfortable and very supportive. As a firearms instructor that operate mainly on outdoor ranges, they really light on my feet and give great support. Worth every penny!

This is my third pair of these boots, but my first that are water proof. I have not gotten them wet as of yet, but will when we go to the snow in the High Sierra mountains in October. I use orthotics in my shoes/boots and it is difficult to find a good boot in a wide width. The orthotics fit great in these boots, and give be a solid platform.

1/2 size smaller than my normal shoe size. The most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. Basically no break in period. only 5 hours of walking and it's a perfect fit. will buy a 2nd pair as soon as these where out. best value for price

These shoes are as advertised. Comfortable and ready to be hiked in straight out of the box. Easy to wipe clean after hiking and they are waterproof.

Very surprised at how well the 11.5 W Moab 2 fit my foot right out of the box, which often isn't the case with other shoes I have worn. Just bought them today and haven't even worn them outside yet, but reviews are good so I am hoping for the best and will give more feedback later. This is my first pair of Merrells and so far I'm glad I found them.

I've had my left ankle almost completely rebuilt and these boots are comfortable and give me the support I need to get through every day life.

I first tried Keen boots. I then tried a 9 1/2 MOAB Waterproof Mid Boot. It was a little bit tight. I wore it anyways and sort of regreted it. After a couple of weeks I called and was told by the customer service agent that the waterproof boots ran about 1/4" smaller than their ventilator counterparts. To fix that I should order the W (wide) version. I did and with a heavy sock, it is phenomenal. Sorry it's taken me so long to find this boot.

I love this product a lot

I had Moab boots last year. Needed new boots like the look and was not disappointed when they came. They fit awesome and are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned.

I got my kid (7 year old) a Merrell and it was awesome purchase. So I bought Merrell for myself for the first time. This boot was mostly for daily commute to work. I walk a good amount and stay on my feet quite a lot at my work (biomedical lab). This boot is nice and snug...just a tad bit heavy. I'm relatively fit so I'm not super bothered by it. Also my feet are wide, but this boot can fit people with even wider feet. It is winter and my feet are super warm and dry, but no way will I be using it come summer. Definitely worth the money so far (after one month of regular use). Looking forward to some hiking in early spring. Final thought...it actually looks good with casual work dress.

I'm typically wearing something close to zero-drop shoes, so it's hard to find a comfortable boot with a wide toebox. These hit the mark perfectly.

Had another pair in a different style that I wore out. Yet another pair in a different style is my go to boot for summer motorcycle riding. These boots measure up to the Merrill standard. Rugged, warm, water proof, stylish. The sole is thick enough for most uses and seems to grip well. These are keepers. Two minor issues: laces could be longer and the toe box seems a bit tighter than I would like but still comfortable.

Comfort and fit were awesome and better than expected.

I bought these boots the night before an 11 day trip to northern California which included 3 days in Yosemite Park based on positive reviews. As my first Merrell product, I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they felt great on my feet right out of the box, and have performed amazingly. I have now had them for a month and have been on several 5-10 mile hikes on various terrain from the snowy, rocky trails of Yosemite, to the wet, muddy trails of Central Louisiana and they haven't missed a beat. They are water tight, comfortable, very grippy, and look good! When I wear through this pair I plan on buying another. Merrell has earned a lifelong customer with these boots.
