I have 3 Merrell shoes which are still good after 7 years. This new Merrel shoes seems not to have a good fit on the arc & heels.

I really like these shoes, although they are barely wide enough to be wide. The snug fit seemed ok over the two or three weeks I've worn them on my morning walks around my suburban neighborhood. However, I just returned from a backpacking trip. These are definitely NOT trail shoes. I felt every rock. My toes kept slamming the front of the shoes when walking downhill. I'll still wear them around town, but never again will I be crippled by backpaking in glorified tennis shoes. Please, Merrell we wide width vegan girls need more options. PLEASE!!

after wearing them for a few hours I couldn't even walk they hurt so bad. my last merrells were the same size and they are fine. much $$$ down the drain

I started wearing Merrell shoes in 2006 and a lifetime of hurting legs and feet stopped that day! I bought nothing but Merrells and one pair dress from another manufacturer. The past few times I bought Merrells they were different but still the best shoe, until this time, and now these new ones look fake and hurt my foot. In my search to find a shoe made in the USA, I bought and returned 3 pairs of New Balance. They looked like a plastic/rubber mold with the outside features painted on. The inside had big bulky seams around the tongue. Then, I ordered Keens because some of their shoes are manufactured in Seattle, WA. but they didn't fit and the outside of the shoe looked fake with all design painted on. I finally gave up and ordered Merrells and, aha!! when I slipped the left one on it felt as though I had on a glove! The right shoe is too narrow, BUT THE OUTSIDE OF MY WONDERFUL MERRELLS IS PAINTED ON, UGH!!!

This is my third pair of Merrill's-one sneaker/hiking shoe and pair of fleece lined slip on clogs...both long lasting and super comfy so I expected the same with this new pair. The fit is great-I have a wide foot and these are always true to size. These sneakers are super lightweight with a great supporting sole so I was thrilled to put them on as soon as I got them, however it was like walking on cardboard-there is absolutely no cushioning inside at all so every step impacts every joint. Very disappointed

Overall these are very comfy for a narrow foot. I wear an 11 but if one needs a bit more cush, then an 11.5 would be perfect. Come on Merrell, please go a half size larger in all of your shoes. I always have to wear thin socks to keep the toe rub minimized.

I really wanted to like these shoes. The color was great, they were very lightweight and the soles had a good grip as described. After trying them for a few hours in the house, it felt like there was a weird lump on the inside of the heels. Almost like the arch was hitting my foot in the wrong place even though the length was perfect. I tried wearing in the house for several more hours to see if it was something that I would get used to. Sadly, it bothered me enough that I was afraid I would not be able to wear them for any length of time, so I returned them. I love my Merrell work shoes, so there was just something about this style that did not work for me.

Why do your women's wide sizes only come in these dreary colors???

I love the look of this shoe, but the integrity and quality of your shoes has gone down in the past few years. There's a crease in the toe. I have Merrell from twenty years ago that are much better made.

I am hoping to return these. I have worn Merrell for years but these particular sneakers are very uncomfortable walking especially at a faster pace. The hard part across the front of the sneaker digs into my foot each step I take.

Its says wide but it does not feel wide after a long hike OUCH

Wide model fit my wide feet OK, but there wasn't enough cushion for my heel spurs & plantar fasciitis. Too bad because they're pretty cool looking. I had to return them.
