I thought I had to "break in" these shoes - but they fit me really good! They are not waterproof, but I do not plan to do heavy-duty climbing or hiking. They will protect my feet and soles from rocks, slippery trails, etc. mARLYtHEY LOOK - FEEL - AND WEAR VERY GOOD!

I have been battling plantar fasciitis for almost a year. I needed a shoe that was super stable and running shoes aren’t stiff enough. This shoe did the trick! I needed to exchange for a wider width, but the second pair allowed me to walk 5 miles today with only low level pain. Very happy about this purchase!

Love these shoes! Just the right amount of support, flexibility and traction for roads and trails. I wear the waterproof & non-waterproof versions, depending on the weather. Consistently true to size over multiple years and pairs. Good toe box width and narrow-ish heel (but not too tight). I'm a women's size 12 in Merrell so I really appreciate being able to find shoes that fit comfortably - my feet hate most shoes but not these.

Very comfortable and good looking shoe, sleeker looking than many other hiking shoes. I am a moderate distance hiker, up to 10 miles per day occasionally. I do have bunions and this shoe feels the most comfortable out of the six I have tried on. I have not gone on any hikes yet, still in the process of choosing the perfect shoe.

I love these hiking shoes. I use them for urban hikes, as well as, country hikes. Comfortable, supportive and I can wear all day! Just wish they came in more colors, like they used to. Still, I highly recommend!

This is my 2nd pair of the Siren Edge 3 - I enjoy the comfort, style, and support. As a dog walker I often walk 40 - 50 miles a week! These Merrill’s are a plus plus plus for me.
I wear hiking Sox so I do order 1/2 size up.

Merrells are consistent in their sizing, and I can purchase my size without working they will not fit. Because of bunions, I need a wide, and Merrell size 8 W is perfect. Also, their removable insole is as nice as what my podiatrist sells. Have purchased at least a dozen pairs, wear them hard, throw them in the washing machine, and they look and feel great. Do not make my feet look like big boats too.

Great hiking shoes. I was having problems with pain on the top of my feet and now that is gone. I hike 5 miles+ daily and did not want to cut back. I believe these shoes have just enough firmness in the sole to fix the problem.

I love these shoes. Merrell seems to fit my foor the best and I always come back to them I wear 8 medium and these required no breaking in. I wear them for walking on sidewalks and on trails, live in the high desert so don't need waterproof. These are light and the heel is cushioned but the body is firm, just how I like it. I don't like mushy thick soles.
