The narrow fit makes these a great shoe for me. They're very comfortable but after one year, I need to replace them. The seal along the sole has given way on one shoe, and the top of the toe on the other has worn through. So no longer waterproof.

For a wide it seemed narrow I kept trying them on different times of the day and after a few weeks still didn’t think they would work so sending back.

Have bought quite a few Merrill hiking sneakers, including Siren Edhe 3. These are visibly narrower than any others I've owned. It will prevent me from buying another pair on-line. Maybe trying to cut costs? Not sure why this would be. Always loved Merrill sneakers until this pair.

I have about 10 pairs of Merrell shoes/boots. Always loved them, always good fit and comfortable. These are NOT the same quality at all. I always order wide, and these are so much narrower than my other Merrells. the heels on these shoes are way too short and cause slipping up and down crating frictions and blisters if I wear them walking over an hour. I know they're waterproof, but these are weird and plastic-y material. I have a pair of Antoras that I can't live without - sure wish these were were more like that.

Shoe is very stiff,no flexibility and very bulky. Limited options in wide with even though majority of people are in that category.

Very uncomfortable fit. Not wearable for me and I usually wear Merrill

I like the looks of this shoe but the footbed is weird. I wear a 6.5 or 7. My foot is slightly wide but most shoes fit if I go up a 1/2 size. This one I felt like the middle outside of my foot was not sitting well on the footbed. I think it's just a weird design. I returned to try a different model all together.

I think the only waterproofing makes the shoe tighter. Maybe if I had gotten a wide it would have worked but when I tried to exchange they were out. I send them back because they were not comfortable as the ones I have had that were not waterproof.

After two hikes the ribbon holding the shoelace ripped. They were not rugged hikes. They are waterproof and I love them otherwise, but that's a pretty big deal to me.

This is a great looking shoe but runs really small and narrow. I usually wear 7W but after reading the reviews ordered a half size bigger. No way was this a true 7.5! As to the width, this felt like a regular B width…very narrow toe box and tight across the widest part of the foot. Also, something in the footbed felt off, like maybe because it was too short things did not fall correctly. Thankfully, Zappos let me return the shoes hassle free.

I am not happy with the shoes. They are very stiff and uncomfortable to walk in. Not at all the quality I expected in a Merrill. Maybe it is the style, but the shoes are not easy to walk in. After a few hours, I have to change shoes. I have other expensive shoes (Brooks), that are much more comfortable.

This style was not at all like the previous Merrells that looked so much the same. They were shorter, wider, taller and very stiff.

To tell the truth, I haven’t decided if I really like them yet..have been wearing them every morning for out walking for an hour and they still seem very stiff..unlike all my other Merrell’s.

I knew right away that these were not the boot for me. There is little cushion and have a hard feel. That may be for support, but I couldn't see hiking without some softness in the sole of the boot.

The color on line is much lighter than the actual color. And the sole is extremely stiff and hard. I walked around the house with them and my feet were getting sore. I returned them.

I never got a chance to try them out to test the waterproof quality. Probably because of the liner the shoe fits differently and the ankle bone came up higher.

I was so excited...and then, I wasn't. The shoes, as cute as they are, hurt the top of my toes because they're pretty narrow.

I generally love Merrell shoes because there is a great variety of wide widths. However, the Siren Edge 3, is uncomfortable as the wide size seems more like a normal non-wide shoe. Guessing this particular style runs small in the wide size.

I love that this is a vegan waterproof shoe, but it was too narrow. I ordered a wide and it was still too narrow. The shoe is stiff and doesn't offer much arch support. I had to send it back.

I bought these in July and within a month there were holes in the fabric around my feet. I don't do technical hikes or hikes longer than 5 miles but these could not hold up to the use. Soles are still in awesome condition. For the price they aren't worth it.

These shoes are good for wide feet but they are not at all waterproof. My feet get soaked just walking through wet grass. Very disappointed. I have maybe worn these shoes 4-5 times in the year that I have had them. I bought them for hiking and camping in the summer. I'm not sure why they are more expensive for waterproof when they are virtually the exact same as the regular version of these shoes.

I have narrow feet and these were definitely tight in the mid foot. I would almost reccomend going a half size up. Especially if you plan on doing any kind of running and need room in your fore foot. Additionally they are VERY stiff and have zero cushion in them at all. I'm going to try to see if they break in ok but I don't think I need to buy this version of waterproof tennis shoes ever again. I've had considerably better especially in terms of comfort, style, AND fit.

I suffer from plantar fasciitis and underpronation/ supination. This shoe over-corrects the arch support causing me to roll even further onto the outsides of my feet and making the pain in my feet worse.

Unfortunately, these shoes were too stiff and the arch was not quite in the right place. They will be returned.
