My podiatrist says my foot problems stem from too tight shoes. I hike/walk a lot in wet weather so this shoe was perfect.

Most supportive, comfortable athletic shoe I've ever worn, and I've ordered at least two pairs of various Merrells since 1999 each year...last year ordered 4 pairs..but this is best for my feet. Each step feels like bottom of feet are being massaged! I sure hope Merrell doesn't drop this shoe as they sometimes do!

I have plantar fasciitis and tendonitis in my Achilles. These are the only shoes I've ever owned that allow me to hike for miles with ZERO pain. I also have really wide feet and there is plenty of room in these. I've noticed some complaints about the waterproofing--these aren't for slogging across a river but my feet stay dry when the grass is wet or if I step in a puddle so I'm happy with it.

I bought this sneaker for my wife. She loves it. She said it fit as described, was light, and gave her the support she need for uneven trail hiking. She also mentioned that the new color looks great on her. Smart enough not to argue.

I love the wide width and 1/2 sizes. Makes for a perfect fit that it so hard to find. Matched with the vibram soul and waterproof feature this is a great shoe for working long shifts as a nurse.

I typically have to wear inserts in my shoes to support my arches and ankles. These shoes offer enough support I don't have to wear the inserts. I have stepped in a giant mud puddle and spilled koolaid on these without my feet getting wet. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Love this shoe, the first time I wore them we hiked 3 miles.. no problem whatsoever!! A little bigger in the size than I'm used to, but I wear thick Socks and my feet usually swell a little so it was just fine. I was skeptical about the water proofing, but I tested it out and they stayed dry!! 10 out 10 recommend.

I need a supportive, waterproof walking shoe for golf, and this fits the bill. This is my second pair. I failed to remember that these run small, so I ordered the wrong size, however. I must order a full size larger than what I normally wear in this particular model of Merrells.

We have a house on 20 wooded acres. I was looking for a supportive, comfortable, waterproof shoe for walking my dogs in the morning; also for gardening and walks around the property. Out of the box, the fit was perfect, true-to-size. No break-in time. These shoes have kept my feet dry. I purchased the denim-friendly blue in my regular size of 7.5 medium. Aside from a bunion on the right foot, I have no other foot issues and the bunion seems content. I have worn with a light sock on cooler mornings without compromising fit. This was my first pair of Merrell footwear. This shoe was well-designed and worth the price. I'll be back. Thanks, Merrell.

I have always love Merrell's regular hiking shoes. Theses are even better. Comfortable and light weight. Had to walk through a small stream and never got a wet foot. I'll buy another pair when these wear out.

Hiking in these shoes has been fantastic. The waterproof feature holds up nicely in the rain. I would highly recommend!

I used these as my only shoe for traveling and hiking through Switzerland and they did a good job!

We were going to be hiking glaciers and trails in Iceland and I needed a hiking shoe that didnt look like a hiking shoe. This fit the bill.

Exchanged this shoe, i didn't like the color. I didn't wear them.

The wides were barely wider than the regular width and were a bit tight where the foot flexes. Also, the sole is very hard.

Wore these brand new for a hiking trip: 5 days hiking in the forests and mountains of West Virginia. We logged over 30 miles. These shoes kept my feet dry and comfortable while hiking in hot humid, and rainy conditions and while we scampered over rocks, roots, creeks, and waterfalls.

They were comfortable as soon as I put them on! We went to Colorado and hiked the Great Sand Dune, Chimney Rock and the Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Just purchased these locally. I was jexperiencing first time heel pain, and was looking for a support hiker. I am a solid 39. I purchased a 40 (9) because I felt they were a bit on the narrow side compared to the MOAB. I wear almost exclusively SMARTWOOL socks, and wanted to leave just a titch of room for an orthotic if needed. I love these shoes not just because of the Fit for my wide feet or that I like the style and that they are waterproof. I was impressed that by the end of the day my heel pain was 90% gone on day two no pain at all and no need for orthotics. I am a very active 72 YO and am leaving this long review to try and cover all bases for customers on the fence. I am a huge fan of these and will continue to use them on hikes in our rugged Wyoming countryside.

These were great on the trail to Mataruni Falls near Kilimanjaro.

This shoe offers great support for daily wear and walking. Also great for hiking too. I have ongoing foot issues and good support is essential for me. This is my 3rd pair of the Siren Edge.

Nice looking shoes, and comfortable, but not long lasting. I wear these outdoors while working in an animal sanctuary. They get a little wet but not soaked. The toe on both shoes warped a bit after wearing the 3rd time. They feel smaller, seemed to shrink. It's too late to return them or I would have.
