I really liked this shoe but the more I wore them the more they squeaked when I walked. Both shoes. Also I don't believe they supported my foot like other New Balance shoes. I'm returning mostly because of the noise.

Loved the shoe but too small. I saw the reviews, some said order up and others true to size. I went with true to size. Unfortunately, they were too small and don't have the next size up.

I did not listen to other reviews and ordered my normal size (9) and I wish I would have ordered 9.5. They are comfortable to walk and run in, however, my toes are hitting the end of the shoe therefore I cannot walk/run long distances.

I went to a running store and fell in love with what I thought were these shoes- same model etc. They didn't ab e my size so went onto the new balance site to buy. These are definitely not the same shoe. I would say are not good running shoes at all but I wore them a few times to give them a shot and now don't think I can return them. More just comfort shoes, poor cushioning and not super comfortable when running. They "look good" but that's about it. Dissapointed.

Great looking tennis shoes, but too small. I always wear 8.5 and my toe was at the very end of the shoe.

I bought a size 7 because With shoes that run smaller that is usually the correct size but I feel that these run extra small and I could use a size 7 1/2. I like the style and look but they are below average in comfort level.

Although these felt true to size, they were too tight with my usual orthotics substituted. My old NB 1080s accommodated them perfectly. Even with the original insoles, these are more snug across the instep than those were, so beware if you have a high arch. I wish I hadn't worn them out for a few walks because now I can't return them. I've ordered the latest version of the 1080s and hope those will be better!

Normally wear a 7, bought a 7.5 but my toe was pushing against the front.j Feels whole size too small. Cute shoe though, and lightweight.

I teach school and do a lot of walking and standing. I thought these would be great in helping me combat foot pain and pressure. The shoe is well made but the top of the shoe hurts across the top of my foot. My feet swell and these are wide enough to accommodate my swelling, but the top of the shoe does not stretch and is very painful. The foam on the bottom of the shoe is very firm. The shoe is lightweight, certainly not what I had hoped for.

These shoes are super cute! However they are too narrow. Ordered a WIDE width and felt like a regular width shoe, maybe even a bit more narrow than other NB sneakers I've bought.

I was hoping to replace my 880's with these Fresh Foam Tempo's but no-go. The shoe is definitely a half size smaller than the 880's and much tighter in the upper and in the toe.

Esthetically pleasing but the wide wasn't any wider than my normal width sneakers. Y'all must have mad narrow feet! Returned.

I really wanted to love these shoes. Cute colors, nice padding, good price. I have a narrow foot and could have made the width of the 10.5 work, but the were not my size. The 11 were the right length, but twice as wide. Sadly both pairs are headed back. I have loved fresh foam in the past, but the minimalist top do not allow for a narrow foot. I was laced as tight as could be and still had a gap and movement in the forefoot.

Got these to replace my Beacon V1, which are my favorite runners (the most wonderful I've ever owned) but these are a hard no. I was an 8 in the Beacon, THESE DO RUN SMALL!!!! These 8's fit like a 7.25. Order a 1/2 size up minimum, they are not kidding on the "runs small" they run short (and narrow at mid foot) Colors are cool though...

Definitely should have ordered a 1/2 size bigger but unfortunately they don't come in my size. Width wasn't a normal wide width for a new balance shoe and felt more narrow. I wear custom inserts because the general inserts provide little nor any support. And yes, they don't provide any support.

I loved my first pair of these so much the second I put them on, I bought a second pair a couple months later. Same size, same color. But the second pair is just uncomfortable. I can feel all the seams and they feel tighter. Disappointed (and don't get why) they just aren't as good

When I put these on, they felt fine and the support seemed adequate. But when I went on my walk, I started to experience pain that did not subside even when my walk was over. I believe these shoes will be great for most people, but if you have orthopedic issues with your feet, knees, back, &/or hips - you should probably take them on a short stroll before you decide they are a keeper.

I have worn New Balance for ages, but lately I've struggled finding a pair that fit right. My last pair were Nikes because the NB were just not doing it for me. I thought I would circle back to NB and I tried the 8 and 8.5 of this shoe. My toe hit the end of the shoe in the 8 and for the 8.5 the shoe swallowed my foot and fit like a 9. I am returning both and may not be able to go back to NB because I just can't seem to find a pair to fit anymore. I think something about their toe box has changed and they don't work for me any longer.

I like these shoes, well made and very comfortable but they run short. I read another review before I purchased them and went up half a size but i wish I had gone up a full size now. My toes are hitting the end on my right foot. I had qualms about buying my walking shoes online without trying them on, wish I had made another choice now.

I loved the color, but they are too narrow across the top of the foot. I have never had this issue with New Balance before. I sent them back.

I have NB 860's. Love them, fit me perfectly. My forefoot is just in the wide range, my heel is regular width. I ordered these in wide but they are very narrow compared to the 860's. They pinch my forefoot a lot, and put pressure on the 1st toe. Back they go. Too bad, they look nice. I will wait for more colors in the 860's.

I wanted to love these sneakers as I have black pair. Wanted white. Love the linen look of these shoes in white, but design of heel pushes foot forward. Thus too short, already 1/2 size larger. Will wait for stores to reopen and then find better fit. Think NB makes superior products. Just not this shoe.

I usually wear a medium width but found found this shoe very tight. I called our local New Balance store and was advised by an associate that they do run narrow. I was able to return and order a wide width.

I am a regular and repeat New Balance customer and the Fresh Foam Tempo is not my favorite. They seem a little snug across my foot and have way less give than the Fresh Foam ROAV's that I love. The embroidery on them is fantastic and I love the look but the fit is a little meh. I sized up based on the reviews and even with ordering up they still aren't great.

The predecessors to this shoe, particularly Zante V4, were slim, light, breathable, fast, responsive, and agile. So, pretty much everything a runner could ask of a shoe.
The Tempo looked and felt like clown shoes in comparison. This might be a great shoe for some runners, but if you were used to the natural and neutral cushion of Zante, you will be very disappointed with this shoe. New Balance - please return to making functional and high performing shoes and apparel for athletes. Reflective details? High visibility colors? And please give real specs - like shoe weight and how we can expect the shoe to perform, we can look at photos to see what it looks like...
Bottom line: you can't beat fresh foam. If this style of shoe appeals to you, I would say to buy your true size. I always wear 8.5 in NB runners, and 8.5 was the correct size in these. Based on reviews, I tried both 8.5 and 9. I wear no cushion socks and don't like my shoes to move on my feet when I run, so I prefer a snug fit.
