Shoes are coming apart after few days use ,walking on damp grass some moiusture migrated inside, the soles are coming off unglued see pictures , i been buying merrell brand for a while but this pair the quality is awful .i should get a refund or a new shoe's

I purchased Merrell hiking shoe for many years. But, I like the design of Merrell Chameleon 8 Leather Mid, but the upper front edge of the shoe is too sticky. It hurts when walking.

They say they are waterproof and they are not. Took a hike in them this winter and stepped through a stream. Inside of my shoes got wet, but I figured it had come over the top of the boot. Took my dogs for a walk today in the rain (with rain pants on) and my socks were soaked. So disappointed because Iove these boots. So comfortable and supportive.

Something was left inside the inner boot under toe bed.... Quality control must be a thing of the past. Returned.

I bought these in February and only lightly wore them because i could not wear them consecutive days since they made my ankles so raw. After a short time of limited use the soles began to separate at the toes allowing water to leak in. Huge fail on Merrell here, my first and last boot from them.

Beautiful looking shoe. Considered buying them until I looked closely at the 4 lace hooks at the top. They are made of plastic/nylon and break off quite easily. Why make a leather shoe with flimsy hooks? Makes no sense.

I bought these boots last summer and broke them in before going on a multi-day hike. Unfortunately, just like another review (John) stated: "there's a
seam on top of a lace holder that rubs, painfully, against my left ankle bone, medial malleolus." This consistently happened to me on both boots to the point where I had to stop every 30 minutes or so to untie and readjust the lip. I spent one day hiking mountains in flip flops to avoid having to wear this product. Please do not purchase this product as you will be disappointed in losing over two hundred dollars.
