The fit and size are good, I just wish they had a little more cushioning.

Comfortable shoe. I'm glad I went ahead and ordered a half size bigger like other reviews suggested because it gives my foot the room it needs. The shoe is light and good for walking, which is what I was looking for. So far, I haven't needed to switch out the insert to put in one for plantar fasciatus, so it's provided me with enough support and comfort. Not a big fan of the big N on the side, but that's just me being a little nit-picky. Overall, I'd buy this shoe again.

Order a half size larger than you normally wear in street shoes (i.e. I normally wear a street shoe size 8, so I ended up having to re-order size 8.5)

This shoe is best for running around town, if you need a bit more support than what you might find in a random other brand of tennis shoe. I don't find it supportive enough for my workouts, and it's doing that weird thing where it makes me feel like my foot is going to sleep, in spite of it fitting fine. I don't understand why that happens in some NB shoes. The gray/purple design is old-ladyish on my foot, unfortunately, so I wish I'd bought it in a more dynamic color option. I've worn it a few times, though, so it's mine now! Will keep as a shoe to use for trips to the local big box store. Won't purchase it again in the future.

I use it for walking about 3-4 miles. Although it is probably made for runners who want a light sneaker, I wish it had more support.

This show is comfortable and seems sturdy enough to last awhile. I wear shoe inserts for plantar fasciitis and they fin in these shoes.

I love these shoes...enough room in the toe box, moderate arch support and extremely light. I don't know how they would hold up for running or every day use but I wear them all the time. I usually take a 9W and these are very roomy.

These shoes are light and comfortable for lifting workouts. The shoes run narrow and I had to order a wide. The arch support is non-existent but I wear inserts anyways so it wasn't a problem for me.

This shoe is light and comfortable. I bought the pair to wear for lifting. I had to order a wide which I typically don't wear. The arch support is non-existent but I wear inserts anyways so it was not a big deal.

They are missing the support I needed and are also snug around the toe area.

I use mine to ride my inside recumbent bike. The material is much thinner and the laces aren't as sturdy as my previous pair of 711 NBs.

I don't understand how people can rave about the fit of New Balance shoes. I stand on my feet all day for work in a warehouse so it's imperative that I have shoes with good arch support for my average-high arches. These didn't give any support whatsoever, no padding even with their enclosed insoles. Just felt flat. The width felt narrow, not average. Had to return.

So, Zappos as well as the reviews said you should order 1/2 size up which I did, however, my toes did not extend far enough so I returned and ordered my usual 8 1/2. Unfortunately, I'm returning them as well. For you other New Balance fans, if you're used to having plenty of room in the toe box with the usual "wide" NB shoes, you're going to be surprised because it is not there. They did at least go with a longer tongue in this model but the style? Blah (though if that were the only issue I would not have returned them.
I'd also recommend:
I opted to try Brooks Ghost. First Brooks shoes ever and so far I'm liking them a great deal.

I feel so odd going against the grain and not rating these as well as everyone else. These shoes are so stinking cute, however, I would venture to say feels like an entire size too small. I purchased the wide option, and it def was way too snug. I was also expecting "more shoe" aka, more cushion/support in sole and arch area. Really really bummed.

These shoes are really cute. However, the fit does not work. I’ve been wearing Allbirds the last year and LOVE the fit but they wear quick so I was looking for a replacement. I wore these in the house for 2 days to see if I could get used to the fit and on day 3 I was back in my Allbirds. I ordered a 7, my regular size in NB but did get the wide based on reviews ( I do not have wide feet) and they are not wide at all. They wide would work if you have VERY narrow feet but for standard width foot it was a no go for me.

These are very lightweight and comfortable. The memory foam insole made my feet too hot. I planned to increase by a half size and add in an arch support. But then when testing them out, on two occasions, my foot shifted in the shoe and my ankle turned. The entire upper is mesh and there aren't any supportive elements to hold your foot in place over the body of the shoe as you're shifting your body weight while doing HIIT workouts. Returning.

This particular shoe seemed to be more cheaply made than other New Balance shoes I've owned in the past. They have a strange fit! They are too big in the ankle area, but really narrow towards the toes. I hope they feel more comfortable after a few uses.

I returned these because they were a little too lightweight for me. Very comfortable, good colors, but I wanted a more substantial shoe for walking.

They run big. I am a size 9, usually buy size 10 sneakers because of width. I read these ran big so I went with a 91/2 wide. They are too big. A 9w would have been perfect. I use them for gym exercises, nothing intense. While they initially seem comfortable my feet always hurt mid to end of routine, so after about 30-40 min. So not the best or the worst sneaker. Insoles do come out so exchanging them is easy, which might help. Bottom line, not the best exercise sneaker Out there but i bought them on sale so i am ok with them, would not pay full price. They are cute though.

I like the color but the rigged in the bottom i don't care for because stones get caught in them and hurt walking in the NB.

I have been wearing a size 10 in NB cross training shoes for years and this shoe was too short. The shoe was comfortable otherwise.

The shoes is comfortable to wear but the insole peeled right out after a few times of wearing.
