I read the reviews and noted that many said the jacket runs large. I ordered a medium but wish I had ordered the L. It is a bit restrictive in the arms/shoulders. I add a sweater over my t-shirt and wear the jacket. It is a nice weight so great for fall/spring when I don't need the extra layer. I usually wear a 10/12.

Love the overall look of this jacket, however it runs big. For reference i am 5'3" 150 lbs. I am usually a Medium in all my other North Face jackets, which is nice snug fit for me. but, I ordered this jacket in a Large so I can layer thick jackets and sweaters underneath. However, I have waaay too much room even with 2 layers on. I will be exchanging for a medium, which I think will still have enough room for layering. The sleeve length is also very long, but the velcro at the wrist helps avoid this issue.

I love this jacket. I live in Seattle and this is the perfect jacket for rainy days. It does a great job keeping me dry. The only thing is, I feel like it runs a little big. I am 5'10 about 160 lbs and I got a medium. I could easily wear a sweater or lighter jacket underneath to keep me extra warm if needed with some space to spare.

Beautiful jacket and the yellow color is a fresh addition to my closet. The extra length in back is really nice in the rain and adds a bit of warmth for a lightweight jacket. I'm always an XL but this jacket is bigger so I wish I had the large. Roomy first layers. Would love it in every color if I get the size right!

I normally wear Petite XL which is harder and harder to find, so I resorted to Regular XL. While this jacket has some of the features I wanted: longer length, zippered pockets, hood, inner zip pocket, and adjustable cuffs, it has that idiotic hood elastic with no toggles on it. I want a hood I can keep closed in high wind. If this hood can accomplish that without hood toggles, it needs an instruction manual. This is my first NF purchase ever: are the zippers always reversed from normal women's clothing? Being so oversized for my height, it's also too heavy. Probably will send it back out of sheer frustration.

Nice color love happy colors and is great for me light and easy to wear . Cover my hips I'm looking great and feeling great and stay warm .

I liked this jacket, great for rainy weather. But I bought one size up, I am wearing layers, it is still big to me. I wish I bought my actual size.

I wanted to love this North Face City Trench so many wonderful features-two way zip, great hood, zipper flap with snaps, lovely fabric. However this fit was just off for me although I usually wear NF and love the fit. This time shoulders & chest were just so narrow and the jacket pulled if I tried to move my arms. Tried a size larger and the arms length was really long & jacket way to big. So both sizes sadly going back.
